The First Wave: The D-Day Warriors Who Led the Way to Victory in World War II by Alex Kershaw. For those who already know a lot about D-Day, this book might not be too revealing. Conversely, for someone like me, who knows embarrassingly little about D-Day, it is engrossing and informative.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Well at least since 2006 when I first got Sirius Radio. I loved Steve Savard and Jack Snow, I loved Savard and Hannifan and I loved Savard and Farr. Now I feel the same way about JB and Jones-Drew. I record the games on TV and go for a long drive so I can listen to the game. I’m too much of an infant to handle anyone from outside the Rams organization criticizing the team during a game, so naby canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
The 2006 loss in St Louis was way worse for me. Holt's circus catch to go ahead late, followed up by the late drive and FG after the illegal formation call against Seattle. That loss was brutal.by canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
I like the ones you posted. Any reunion videos are a pleasant diversion for me, but the dog/owner ones are especially great. I also like videos when parents surprise their children with a puppy. Although, some of those videos also stress me out because I worry about what the poor dog might be getting into.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub

Good for you James. The between the ears stuff is always the most difficult aspect of training indoors for me. Sounds like you have a good system.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
It might just be my age, but as disappointed as I was in the Rams losing I was just so happy that they were even there that I didn't feel anything remotely close to the bitterness of the Super Bowl XXXVI loss. After all the non winning seasons between 2004 and 2016 I was beginning to think I'd never see the Rams in another Super Bowl. The team now seems built to contend for a few seasons, but thaby canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com

I’d never seen that before! It was probably best that she didn’t know what she was dealing with. On the other hand, it’s a good thing that she didn’t try to pet the dog.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Interesting that she would side with the Rams. When Seattle and New England played in the 2014 (?) Super Bowl I wasn't sure which team I wanted to win. My distain for both teams is so strong that at the time I couldn't discern who I loathed more. Once the game started though, it became very clear that I wanted New England to win. I really dislike Pete Carroll I guess.by canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
I ordered the t-shirt and a lanyard. To happy a moment for me not to commemorate in some fashion. I watch alone. I don’t think anyone other than a Rams fan could tolerate me during any Rams game. I don’t know any other Rams fans around here.by canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com

Great story. Certainly more noteworthy than any of my bear encounters. All of which were no closer than 20 feet and all ended with bear hightailing it in the opposite direction. They are cunning for sure. My mother in-law had one break through the screened window of her kitchen to get some freshly baked cookies.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Yes, black bears. It seems that every year I read about a story of an aggressive black bear in our area. I have one friend who works in the bush and had to repeatedly spray a black bear as he made his way the two kilometres back to his vehicle. However, pretty rare. I don’t know if a black bear has ever killed anyone around here. I appreciated your further comments about cougars, btw. I was oby canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Seven out of the last ten winners have been QBs. I don’t follow the CFL to know whether any of those winners were seen as controversial. FWIW, the three non QBs winners were RB, WR/KR and LB.by canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
Mountain Lions, or cougars as we call them in my neck of the woods, have been a subject of great debate for quite some time. For years they were considered non existent in Northwestern Ontario. There were many unconfirmed sightings hundreds of kilometres west of us. Slowly reports of sightings crept closer and closer to our city. however, without hard evidence the Ministry of Natural Resources rby canadaram - Bucky's Pub

We flew down to Toronto to see him in concert in July of last year. My partner is a big fan so she arranged the whole thing. I had always appreciated him, but was never a huge fan. I honestly didn’t expect much going into the concert, but I was absolutely blown away by his show. I’ve seen several different high energy concerts, from Springsteen to Kiss. Petty rivaled them all. It is something that I think about often. I used to watch boxing when there was a marquee match-up, but I just can’t do it anymore. I haven’t thought about giving up watching football yet, but being aware of CTE and its affects is something I struggle with for all the same reasons that you mention. I recently finished reading ‘Game Change’ by Ken Dryden. It is about concussions in the NHL. Drydenby canadaram - Bucky's Pub
