...and he might very well retire. A physical beating and devastating loss could hasten the end of a career for a player who will turn 40 before the start of next season.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
It would be awesome if the Falcons prevail and send Brady into retirement on a losing note like the Rams did to Staubach in the 21-19 playoff game in 1979.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...that fumbles were treated in a different way than interceptions. If you intercept the ball and your momentum carries you into the end zone, the ball comes out to the place where the ball was intercepted. If you recover a fumble and your momentum carries you into the end zone, it would be a safety according to the old rules. They make so many changes to the rules anymore that I can't keep up wiby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...which have no substance. Why be a $%^& stirrer and post such non-Rams garbage on this board?by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
Have the Rams signed Wade Phillips? Maybe they're waiting until next week to keep the spotlight on McVay's signing for a few days.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not going to predict the record, but there will be a complete turnaround. McVay will identify the problems with the offense and fix them using players already on the roster, free agents, and draft picks. Phillips will make the defense more consistent and better. The IQ of this team will go from about 70 to well over 100. No more stupid penalties. Offense killers like Greg Robinson will be gonby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't like the fact that the Chargers are moving to LA. If it had to be done, however, it seems that there might have been a better way. The new stadium won't be ready until 2019. It would have made sense for the NFL to postpone the move until then. Given two more years, it might have been possible to find a mutually beneficial way to keep the Chargers in San Diego. Waiting until 2019, would haby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure that the Rams are as poorly run as many seem to think. They were praised for bringing in Fisher five years ago. He was still fairly highly regarded back then, and the Rams beat out the Dolphins to get him. I have no way of really knowing what role Les Snead has played in the good moves and bad moves that the Rams made during the past five years, but they definitely made some boldby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
Hope for the future. Something that Fisher destroyed for years.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I would like to see the Rams hire Matt Patricia as HC and Mike Vrabel as DC. That would seem to be a good mix, with two up and coming names. The biggest remaining question would be who to hire as the OC. I would also be excited about the possibility of hiring Kyle Shanahan or Sean McVay as the HC, but there is something especially intriguing about Matt Patricia.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...what might be of interest in a game years later no matter what the outcome. For example, I saved the Rams 31-13 loss to the Falcons in 1994. Not as bad as a 44-6 loss, but I'm glad to have that game. It contains the first TD of Isaac Bruce's career. It was a nice catch, and he made quite a celebration after it. There could be something in the Rams final game of the 2016 that will be of interesby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com

Intelligent, young, full of energy, and with the drive to achieve great things. Having already been successful, but not living off the past. This is exactly the kind of coach that I would want to hire.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I was traveling over the Holidays, and my DVR choked for the Cardinals game. Did anyone record that game and have the ability to put it on DVD? Despite the horrid outcome, I would like to watch it to see how certain players performed.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
From that list, I would say that Warner and Tomlinson are the two most obvious that should get in. I hope that Bruce doesn't turn out to be one of those players who falls through the cracks. He deserves to get in.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't remember which game it was, but the camera showed Robinson and Scaffold jogging off the field just before the half. You couldn't hear their voices, but it appeared that Scaffold tried to give Robinson some advice and that Robinson blew him off. If the next coach of the Rams has the right stuff to turn this team into a winner, one of his first tasks will be to cut Robinson.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
The horrid final game of the season brought back memories of the 48-0 loss to the 49ers in the final game of the 1987 season. The 2016 Rams were nearly the worst I have ever seen in nearly 50 years of following them. It's great that Fisher was fired, but it's difficult to have faith that this organization will make a wise choice for the new head coach.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
...since they lost to Clemson in the Gator Bowl 36 years ago and Woody Hayes' career came to an end when he punched an opposing player.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
If the 49ers bookend a 13-game losing streak with wins over the Rams, it might very well be the most shameful thing in the history of the Rams (at least since the late 1960s, when I started following them).by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't regard Del Rio as a retread. He has been an NFL coach since 1997 and has never been unemployed during that period. He was a head coach for one of the dysfunctional teams, and he had some good seasons with them. Jon Gruden has been out of the NFL for a long time, and I would be very concerned about his motivation and drive if he were to be enticed to return and take the Rams job.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't want to see another retread. Get a young, upcoming, highly motivated offensive guru for the job.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
After the Rams signed Mike Thomas, there were claims that he was a steal since he made lots of big plays. During the past few games, he has made two huge mistakes. There was the muff on the kickoff that allowed the Falcons to score a TD just 10 seconds into the game. Against the Seahawks, he dropped a sure TD pass early in the game. It seems likely that the Rams would have lost those games no matby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
It's irritating to see Tavon Austin strutting around as if he's just done something comparable to the Immaculate Reception after making plays that quality NFL players would regard as routine.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I became a Rams fan during the Blue and White era. I loved seeing the white horns last night for the first time since 1972. On the other hand, I was blown away by the spectacular new uniforms in 1973 when I saw them for the first time. They were stunning! At the time, I had no idea how much I would come to miss the old Blue and Whites. While watching the game last night, the white horns kept giviby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't like to see piling on, but that guy really nailed it. That has been my opinion of Fisher all along. It's good to hear it coming from someone in Tennessee who has extensive experience watching Fisher and his teams.by L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
It has only been a few games, but I have seen indications that Goff is going to be an impact player. I have seen flashes of ability that I kept looking for but never saw in Bradford. There have been lots of naysayers, but that doesn't matter to me. I go by what I see on the field. It will be interesting to watch Goff develop under a good coaching staff and with a good supporting cast on the fieldby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
I hadn't thought about the loyalty/patience factor. It would make sense that coaches would appreciate that aspect of an owner. Combine that with the young talent, the LA market, an owner with deep pockets, and a new stadium on the horizon, and the Rams should indeed be an attractive place for coaches. I hope they make the right choice and that this team is also attractive to coaches who will fillby L.A.Rams - RamsFootballFans.com
