QuoteLos Angeles Lenny it was mentioned the other day he could run the Rams or Chargers Mentioned by whom? Right now, as it stands, to be honest, sounds like someone out there is just speculating. I am inclined to think there's nothing to it. .by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLos Angeles Lenny I for one would love it, if Kronke is smart he would leave him alone. Where is this rumor coming from? IE where did you hear it? .by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 :thumbsup It's an interesting issue. I voted "fire Linehan." That was a secret option available only to the poll maker. I thought about a couple of the other options but that one just spoke to me.by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach We still coulda/shoulda won. The previous Rams squads would have been blown out. That I agree that with all the mistakes and turnovers they still could have won. But the previous Rams squads, from 2015-16, beat Seattle 3 out of 4 times. And that was with Foles then Keenum at qb. To be fair the one loss in Seattle in 2016 was a 24-3 blowout but to be even more fair that wby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM Yeah, it did seem I was countering you, didn't it? But no... in my mind, anyway, I was just running with your lead. Nah I misread. The first time. I misread a lot, but...I make up for it by piling up typos in response. So it evens out. .by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamadune But mostly, it's within him. Sometimes you have to slack off and get your butt kicked to never want to have that happen again. Yeah I think the same thing. And to his credit he responded well. .by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSteve Exactly, MR ZN....I am happy some are supporting truth....thanks again for removing the cloud over this string. Also, it is clear to all of us that the Rams had an 'off' game--and Seattle was part of that, for sure. The speed of their defense, and intelligence was a 'new' thing for Goff, and the whole team. From all of this, I think we will NOW see Watkins the competitor....and tby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM astounded that some don't seem to see it... and yet not astounded because of 'history'... which I GET.. but how can you NOT see the difference in the Rams this year and what we've seen beforehand.. We probably disagree about the reby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM You are SOOO good at that, and it's vitally important.. but this is basically a rookie team. Neither good nor bad can be proved by stats at this time. Goes beyond that.. and you either see it, or you don't. The way I approach this kinda stuff, conversations like this are big, with lots of different pieces and moving parts, and stats have a place in that. But beyond that, in teby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
For that game, Rams came in at 53.3% on 3rd down conversions. Seattle was 47%. For the season, right now the league leader in 3rd down conversions is Phil, with 53.4%. Carolina is 2nd at 50%. Green Bay is 3rd at 48.4%. For the season, the Rams are 4th with 47%. So the Rams were better than Seattle Sunday and came up with a one game percentage that is just short of the season leaguby zn - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteAl45 That pass was not an easy catch. Kupp had to dive for the superman catch. I hate to use Joe Montana as an example since he is a hated whiner. But take a look at this 2 minute drive from the Super Bowl. The pass to John Taylor was the perfect placement and timing. Taylor didn't have to dive for the catch like Kupp did. QuoteSpeed_Kills Regardless of how I feel about Higbee coach McVay really likes him. The last two weeks he has been really worked into the offense He seems to be picking it up as a receiver but I still dont trust him. Quotewv ram QuoteNewMexicoRam I don't have any link for it. I dont either, but they sure looked good in the RZ against Indy: This is an issue that comes up now n then. McVay's redzone offense in Washington last year. Here's a reference point:by zn - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRazorback Not a lot of carries in the McVay offense, is there? I saw Gurley catching extra balls after practice every day that I went to camp. He's ready. Actually RB McVay's is one of the most balanced offenses in the league. 140 runs to 166 passing attempts, and that was after a game where they were trying to play catch up at the end (20 passes in the 4th quarter to 5 runs so 47 passeby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteOld Goat Quotezn QuoteJoeMad he can't catch. He HAS. Something's wrong this year, but he has before. McVay made it clear he believes this is a temporary situation and Tavon will be working on fielding punts and working through this issue. McVay sees the problem as temporary. QuoteJamesJM or maybe not. I voted neither... but that's because Goff was under duress and... I don't agree with the those on the board who thinks this was an easy, (or rather a VERY catchable) ball. It WAS catchable, one I think Kupp should have made, but I disagree that catches like that any where near routine OR.. well, I'll get to that. Breaking it down. I don't think this is a huge big deal issue, in the sense that no one is judging the team, or Goff, or Kupp in some kind of significant way. It's one play in a close loss for a young team and it's still early in a long season. No one is judging Goff's entire future, or Kupp's. It's not like debating whether Martz should have run the ball more in Superbowl 36. B) It's just an interesting topic,by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam ..but that doesn't change the final score. The point is everyone on the Rams needs to step up, learn from their mistakes, and do better, from the head coach down. And I think all of them can do that. So I'm optimistic going forward.by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 Countess??? Moves from cb Just thinking out loud here. I think they had Countess at safety all along going back to camp. He was a CB last year. QuoteSpeed_Kills . Maybe it will take an off-season. Or maybe the bye. I think McVay is a learner. That;s a big compliment. Anyway with Schott, part of that story is this. They didn't like the redzone offense in 2012 and so changed it over the bye. It was very good after that (except they couldn't run in the RZ back then, so I am just talking about the RZ passing offense.) So maybe withby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteFootballGenius It's on him my man. Great players make plays. It seems since Austin has been a ram, they always have to create ways to get him the ball. Forcing the ball to him even.
