I'm still not sure why Witherspoon isn't on the team. Peterson seems to be an ideal safety/corner hybrid. And when Williams comes back, if Peterson is playing well, Durant becomes the 4th corner. Regressing by a point per game from last season... despite the team staying healthy. The entire team regresses although it appears that Karty will be pretty effective. The defense will rank near last in sacks and rushing yards. Wow. I feel like someone isn't paying attention but I guess we will see. However he does have Speights in for Reeder after about 3 or 4 games.

Should be interesting to see how they plan to move forward. At this point I feel as good about Speights as any other option because I feel there is a higher ceiling. Quick, good vision and experience... but to me he looked slow and not as strong as I thought based on his height/weight ratio. I want to be a Zach Evans fan but something is missing with him. Fine for a perennial practice squad player and last resort fill in. I would feel more comfortable with Scott coming in for a game or two but basically a coin flip.

Jones and the Rams disagree on compensation. What's the market for him? I guess that's something that will come to light and then they can proceed accordingly. The Rams don't have to trade him just because there is a partner. They can also insist that he play under the current contract if they don't trade him and then he is a free agent next year. Seems like the Rams are in a no lose scenario,

The argument it uses doesn't hold up 100% imo but it's credible. And its incredible that an AI program can write this good of an article... and AI is just getting started.

I think I find this kind of disturbing because if I had not known AI wrote it, I would have thought a homer Ram fan wrote it or maybe a paid opinion writer.... and written pretty well too, overall. And I agree with some of it but thought there was some reaching going on and some bs... Which is acceptable for a biased report. AI is in the terrible two's.. wait until it's teenager.

Maybe it's a situation where they know what they have in Reeder. They know his ceiling. And now they are trying to find upgrades. But I kind of feel like there is a comfort level with Reeder. I'm still leaning towards him being safe because of his experience in the defense. One thing is certain, we will find out who stays and who goes soon enough. lol
