I am hoping for the following to happen..... HC Josh McDaniels - I think he learned a great deal from his first HC gig. I think it will be a different story this time around. In conjunction with that......... GM Nick Caserio - I think he would make an excellent GM (had enough of Les Snead) I don't know how their relationship is? I hope it is very deep & strong That is my dream scby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Funny, I thought he would be a Larry Allen type Guard AT WORST, when they drafted him. Now, I feel that even an average starter would be a steal at this point. His end of season interview, just screamed "I don't love football" to me.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe it is G or nothing for Mr. Robinson. He seems to struggle being out on the island with counter moves. I am hoping he might succeed "in the box" at guard. He seems like he might be better if he can keep his opponent in front of him. I would think he could be effect pulling? But, quite frankly, I see him as a bust. He seems to lack fire, concentration, and intelligence.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I would be 100% lying if I said I was CONFIDENT. But, I am hopeful. The Rams must bring in a top notch HC and staff. But, probably even MORE important, I think they need to bring in a TOP NOTCH, winning motivated, general manager. IT IS CRITICAL to any future success. The Rams need to build a FOOTBALL organization with an identity. ALL that being said, I am far from confident that they wilby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Well I am going to cheat here, but these are my top three candidates. HC experience or kind of............. McDaniels - has HC experience, failed initially, but I feel he learned a great deal from it. Great example in NE Shanahan - no HC experience, but he has his father as a great reference(experience) Payton - looking more like a longshot, obvious HC experience So, I prefer HC experienceby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
What ever happened on TJ's DUI????? He could easily be suspended for part of the season next year??????? He is a decent safety, nothing special. He is definitely a SS. They Rams could move Alexander to SS and try and pick up more of a ballhawk FS imho.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Technically, isn't that stealing? If he did that to someone on the street, stealing, correct? I have always been amazed how much athletes were chains, in football, baseball, and track. Seems like just one more thing to be a distraction and effect concentration.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I was hoping he would be worried more about his units PATHETIC play instead of anyone else on the roster!!!!!! Looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane to me. Why not talk about YOUR units performance? The WORST OL in the NFL. They were simply an embarrassment, talk about that instead. Talk about getting your unit together in the offseason to build continuity, you are the most tenured OL on theby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Early indications seem to have Payton as Rams top choice. No idea if this is true or not, but it seems to be. How is Payton viewed in league circles? Would a top notch GM relish working with him? I do not know how he is viewed. Anyone have any thoughts/insight? Thanks.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Saffold making WAY too much money to be a backup. Good bye. He is not part of the solution, he is part of the problem imho.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I would send that powder puff of an offensive lineman packing too. I have seen enough his act over the years. He does provide flexibility, he is equally below average at many positions across the OL. Not the warrior mentality that is required for OL. Goff showed more guts and toughness than the entire OL combined. Goff may never turn into a franchise QB, but nobody can question his guts.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't watch another pathetic Ram OL. The new GM's first order of business is acquiring OL talent. Without a competent OL, doesn't matter what offensive scheme is brought in. The current starters have NO redeeming qualities. They are not athletic, or strong, or smart, or disciplined, or technically sound, or relentless, or tough. How does the 2017 NFL Offensive Line FA list look? Rams must rby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I know everyone disagrees on the various HC options for the Rams. But, I feel the HC is only part of the puzzle. But, I want to ask the question this way. What HC candidate do you feel has the best chance of putting together the BEST COACHING STAFF? I believe, the GM replacement is CRITICAL to the future of the franchise. Would you rather have a decent HC and a GREAT GM? or Would youby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Kendricks is one of the first guys I sent packing. He is a sub par blocker and a terrible receiving TE. Don't want to seem him in a Ram uniform again. Goodbye and good luck.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe Goodwin is definitely worthy of an interview, but let us not forgot that there is a Rooney Rule that must be fulfilled prior to any hire. It will be a very interesting couple of weeks ahead for sure. The future of the Rams franchise will be a result of what happens in the next few weeks.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
So, let me get this straight. Demoff will pick the next HC. Then the HC will pick the new GM? Most teams seem to get a GM in place first and the GM performs the coaching search. The Rams selected the coach first the last time and THAT DID NOT WORK OUT WELL AT ALL. Could this mean a Gruden like hire? Someone who will want total control?by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I like Jared Goff, I HOPE he progresses into a franchise QB. But, we have no idea if he will, only time will tell. Goff's success or failure has NO relationship to any past QB's. To try and relate him to any former NFL QB is really quite futile. He has strengths and weaknesses like any other QB. Granted, his development so far has been disappointing, as has the entire Rams organization fromby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, I would at least sign a few. I know the offense is in shambles, BUT I have seen no toughness or aggressiveness from ONE single OL. I am willing to take the risk. I see a bunch of CNPer's..............by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Would it be smart to cut just about every backup OL the Rams have and invade teams practice squads for replacements. There has to be some OL on practice squads better than anything the Rams have. I have ZERO confidence in the ANY of the Rams current OL. Why not at least sign 5/6 from practice squads, activate them then you have them as possible candidates for next years' roster. What would thby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
My hope is this, the Rams totally transform the front office and coaching staff. The roster has very few bright spots as well. BUT, from the end of the season forward the Rams must build for the long haul. There is NO QUICK FIX with this team. Hopefully, they do not spend foolishly in FA just to improve slightly. This will be at LEAST a three year plan back to competitiveness. The are bad oby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, I agree, there is NO REASON to be optimistic for Goff or MANY others on this football team!!!!! BUT, I am far from giving up on him........ The offensive scheme is midget football like, the OL is simply awful. The WR's show no signs of competiveness. This WILL NOT be a quick turnaround, even if the organization does everything CORRECT over the next seven months. They are void ofby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Greg Robinson has not improved one iota at LT. I assume his last chance to avoid being a colossal bust, is a move inside to G. Is there any hope that he could at least become an average or better G? The Rams must try and get a competent LT next year, it is crucial for the development of Goff. Sad part is, that player is currently NOT on the roster. I feel LT is the second most critical posby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
Is it possible that their OL is not as bad as it looks? I would like to think so, but they seem to get beat so consistently. They are neither good at run or pass blocking!!!! They are not big, strong, or fast. I really have no degree of confidence in one single OL. Ugh, I am depressing myself........by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I have NFL DirecTicket, so I get to watch many/most of the teams. I don't get to spend too much time watching each team. But, I will say the following. 1. The Rams VERY rarely seem to create a nice pocket, they are the worst I have seen 2. The Rams time to throw per play has to be last in the NFL 3. The Rams look far and away like the WORST run blocking OL I have seen, they get zero pushby RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
That is one of the Rams major problems, especially on offense, THEY HAVE NO IDENTITY. I am not sure they know what they are trying to do? I can't wait for the current regime to be disbanded.by RamFanInPA - RamsFootballFans.com
I wanted totally NEW philosophies on BOTH sides of the ball.by RamFanInPA - Game Time Forum
Need OL, WR, CB, S, TE. Many, many holes on this team.by RamFanInPA - Game Time Forum
