I did... not worth it at all. Frankly... after the first 10 minutes I'm not sure they used the 3D at all... except for some rocks in the foreground of several scenes. Well, I'm sure they DID use it but not very noticeably... except for the first 10 minutes I can't remember a single scene in the movie where I thought "Wow, good 3D". Odd for Disney to do that. IMDB states that many of his lines were ad-libbed. Not sure how true that is but it's not hard to believe. Whatever, I agree... he worked in perfectly.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
that the movie should have been about C3PO and R2D2? :confused Not sure how you came up with that. No.. my point was.... R2D2 was the final 'handoff', if you will. No less than Princess Leia who WAS given screen time.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
there has to be a beginning.. and they've taken it. That's joyous, no doubt about it. BUT... it's the 'game' for me, I'm not a big off season fan... draft, FA'cy signings, all good but... geez, how do I explain? Here you go: I like salad... but as John Pinette says "Salad is a promissory note that food will soon arrive".... it's good, but I'm waiting for my main entree. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Because for most of you this off season looms as the most exciting in some time.... new HC, Asst's, probably a lot of player turnover. Unfortunately... while I 'get' that... for me it's going to feel like standing in line at the DMV. I'm impatient. Waterfield is somewhere in line with me in a state of bliss watching me twist and turn and slowly implode. I'm trying to believe that they canby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I didn't think it was a great movie... and I think they screwed up BIG TIME, (I'll get to it)... but overall I was entertained. Some spoilers coming up: Don't read this if you haven't seen the movie and intend to see it. I got quite misty eyed when Carrie made her appearance. No fault of the movie, obviously... but her onscreen appearance really caused one to exit the world of "Staby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
about where the photo's post now. You know, before the board meltdown the same module.... same settings, used to post the attached photos 'inline'. Now it doesn't. :confused Now I'm not really saying 'thanks' in a nice way.... what I mean is, "Thanks a LOT for reminding me you #$%". Because now I'll get obsessed trying to find a solution again. Ok, no sleep for me for the neby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
going through her bio came across a tidbit that was simply delectable. Unique as well... so unique I believe I have ever seen it before. Listed in her life's accomplishments is the following.... wondering if any of you can claim the same: "Once castrated a donkey". Seems I have discovered my 'bucket list' was not complete. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not going to be televised today. I'll be following on the web. My bold prediction for today: Fisher will pull a "Shooter" today, (from the movie Hoosiers), stumbling onto the field during the game in a drunken stupor wailing and cursing and waving his arms wildly cursing Stan, the fans, the peanut vendors, and thus winning the hearts of the media putting him in the running for Time Mby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
because it's boring.... I just read big numbers in the headlines... so the $14 mil didn't really mean much to me. Is that a lot today? I would have thought it was minimum wage. Your best guess... when do we see the very first 'gajillion' dollar contract? - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I hear it was quite something. personally, doesn't bother me much. As she tweeted, "#$% Happens". If I had a dollar for every goof I've made drumming, well, I could take care the national debt, let's just say that. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
William Christopher. Like I said earlier... perhaps this isn't the worst year ever for artists but I can't remember a year so filled with sadness.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
The 'much' adjective, anyway. Never before this year did I watch the combine more intently... there were two that distinguished themselves far more than the others. Wentz and Goff... and admittedly, IMHO anyway, Wentz the most.. and by a good margin. But Goff was 2nd, in my estimation.... and he didn't do that by having 'noodle arm' or not completing throws that only a pro can make... He DIDby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I have no common ground with anyone who thinks that to even begin a discussion. It's the "one" thing I know for sure Goff doesn't have and in fact has just the opposite. HOWEVER... those bad passes he throws? True. But they aren't from a noodle arm.... - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
the newest "Jungle Book" movie was? Incredible. Although, sorry to say, the 'theme song'... "Bare Necessities" was better in the original.. Phil Harris singing... it can't be topped. Which leads me to.... And I know you're going to doubt me here... I had never seen "Jungle Book", nor "read" it...sure I knew the song, it's a classic.. but the 'story'?by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
You may not know the name... you've heard him. Weather Report, Herbie Hancock, Santana, Stevie Wonder... he drummed for them all, and more. Very bad year for artists of all stripes. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Well, I shouldn't say that... I've had a string of days like yesterday before, and will again. It all started with breakfast... my grandkids took the last eggo's, seems for the boys 5 each isn't enough. Which reminds me... that aggravates me... the can eat 6 eggo's each and burn the calories off before they leave the kitchen.... whereas I couldn't burn off that many calories in a month. the last one 'felt' the biggest of all, and by a good margin... BUT... it was a 5.6 First two were 5.8 and 5.7.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I only felt three... but the last one hit us the hardest... though I don't think it was as big as the first two. Man, the Sierra Nevada's are rocking tonight. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Pretty strong for being so far away. 5.8 in Hawthorne, Nv. The 2nd, the aftershock, felt stronger to me.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and I'm happy to hand over the title. As I have said before... I don't even follow NCAA Football that closely, much less Canadian Football, Arena Ball.. or NFL Europe.... to this day I can't tell you why I got caught up in Kurt. I don't try to figure it out, actually... I just like to think my guardian angel put me onto him.... that's my story anyway. But while I saw him play Arena Balby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Author of "Watership Down". I don't know that there was any other novel that gave me the joy that Watership Down did. I have read it many times. It's one of a very few books I've ever been able to get my grandkids to read. Trying to get an adult to read it is next to impossible. As soon as you say, 'it's about talking rabbits' you lose them. But if you have never read it... doby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but I completely agree... 2016 seemed a bit 'beyond' to me, as far as losing artists. And we're not alone - I've seen these mentioned in the media several times. Sad year... so here's some very good news... Karolyn Grimes is still with us. She played ZuZu in "It's A Wonderful Life". so is Peggy Dow... from the movie "Harvey".by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not something I thought I 'knew' but I was beginning to wonder if Fisher himself might not step down. His own decision. These post-firing quotes I think pretty much show he wasn't about to step down of his own accord. Quite the opposite. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Hard to think of her as anything other than Princess Leia. I don't know if it was her, the iconic nature of Star Wars, or what, exactly... but she was perfect in the role. Sure seems like being an actor carries with it some hardships, doesn't it? So many have struggles in life that 'seem' to go beyond the norm for the average person.
