I did... not worth it at all. Frankly... after the first 10 minutes I'm not sure they used the 3D at all... except for some rocks in the foreground of several scenes. Well, I'm sure they DID use it but not very noticeably... except for the first 10 minutes I can't remember a single scene in the movie where I thought "Wow, good 3D". Odd for Disney to do that.
I've been to IMAX movies...ohhhhhh, maybe 4 times now and only ONE was worth it, IMHO... and it was a documentary, nature documentary.
IMHO... just my opinion that is: IMAX actually takes away from the visual because in 3D it's not as 'clear'... and when they don't use it much why see it in 3D.
Now don't get me wrong... 3D, when used, is AMAZING. I love it. Seen "Bugs Life" at California Adventure? WOWEE WOW. - JamesJM
