at the Coliseum... where the players enter the field. I think most of us who attended game there hold that tunnel in reverence. None, IMHO.. make that tunnel more special than Jack Snow... last thru the tunnel every game. Kind of like that big ball that falls in Times Square bringing in the New Year... the year didn't start unless that ball fell.... the 'game' didn't begin until Jack cameby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

and may should we meet again. My biggest fear this year is 'whomever' we get in the first playoff game. Get by them and one could rightfully say the rest is 'gravy'... but it's more than that, actually. I can't name a 'specific' game this year where I was suddenly hit with the knowledge that "Hey, The Rams are actually GOOD"... it was a gradual realization for me. But in theby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Loved every single reply. One play, huh? One play... kind of like asking which bite of your last piece of pecan pie did you enjoy most. Well, most I would have chosen have already been mentioned in this thread... so trying to be 'unique': McCutcheon hitting Ron Smith for a TD in SB XIV... putting the Ram's in the lead. When I was growing up, when I was raising my kids, Elfie was no where to be found. I can't even remember him being around when my first few grandkids were born. So I don't know when Elfie first showed up.... but I do know this: I was utterly ignorant of his history and the stringent rules regarding Elfie. So LAST year, not this year.... I 'moved' Elfie. I haven't seen nearly enough of any of them to make a firm opinion... but from what I have seen Dallas has impressed me the most, (D of course).by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

and I LOVE that at least one team is making a show of the art of defense. Hate that it's the Cowboys, however. BUT... that said, and although I think Dallas has a good defense... I don't see them as 'special'. The Ram's O, however... IS special.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
with coaches, media, etc. really came off well, IMHO... IOW... they seem ready to me, they fully understand how big the game is. They've broken down every single facet of the last match-up and sound very prepared. We'll see... but as I said, I'm very optimistic. - Jimmyby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and normally 'pessimistic' I actually feel pretty good about the game tomorrow. For non-Bulldog fans... Fresno St. is playing Boise tomorrow... Fresno is 0-9 against Boise IN Boise. Fresno lost to them earlier this year, IN Boise. BTW... the NCAA needs to ban Boise from all bowl consideration until they get rid of that awful blue field. Seriously... it hurts my eyes. and this is very unfair to Martz.... I can't really celebrate Martz the way I should, the way he deserves, because of Vermeil... and the 'fact' that Vermeil is given so little credit for that SB team... MOST especially on this board where we should know better. Of course that's our fault, not Martz's. And although I'm aware of that, any discussion of '99 that ignores Vermeil to sing Martzby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

two QB's... could have gone to ANY team... playing their hearts out... doing very well... making football fun (the reason we watch)...very different.. (which to me makes it even MORE interesting)... and I'm all in for Goff.. he's a Ram.. he's my man. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
"Stepping Up" is precisely what we've witnessed these last few games. TE's the most notable... but it certainly doesn't stop there. All teams who advance as far as the SB exhibit the ability to overcome adversity... be it injuries or whatever... and that is what astounds me about the Ram's... they are DOING THAT. Certainly there exists a point of no return... God hope we don'by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Waterfield's article was precisely right in one way... very little has ever been done in regards to Mountain Lions. Back in the 80's NOTHING had been studied... and so a semi-research team was sent out. I was NOT part of the 'team'... but I WAS part of the few who collected data. We made an amazing discovery.. until the study it was thought that Lions were very territorial.. meaning theyby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I would have most likely kept soiling them for a few weeks following that. Funny thing... I know a lot of guides that have worked, and still work, in Alaska and what you describe is not only not uncommon but it's what happens 'most' of the time... a full charge then stopping short... I suppose just getting their point across... which never fails to have the desired effect. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
anything that could be done to keep the integrity of the game alive WHILE providing incentive to win games right thru week 16 is a good thing. Frankly... intentionally losing games to get a better draft selection makes me sick to my stomach. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I was returning from a backpacking trip via Tioga Pass. It was probably around 10pm. Coming around a corner I saw them both cross the road in front of me, maybe a 100yds in front of me. I slowed and began looking for them. When we reached the exact spot they had crossed the road I spotted them... just up the hill from the road, maybe 30'. I stopped.... they didn't move. Throughout my life I have considered the spotting of a mountain lion one of my most proud 'bragging' moments. I had seen 10 in my life, (in the wild), which included the rarest of the rare... two at one time. It also included seeing the same mountain lion many times, (only counted as once in my total of 10). This was a mother lion that used the same den for 3 or 4 years in a row. That's a LOTby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
after reading your post I did a search that led to a few websites giving the odds of going from HS to JC, DivIII, DivII, DivI, etc. I'm dubious. They gave the odds of going from HS to Div I NCAA Football at something like 39.6 to 1. I find that hard to believe.
