Became a fan of the Los Angeles Rams in 1969 - or was it '68? I may have cheered them in 68 but became a rabid Rams fan in 69. I grew up in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and my best friend was Brook Pardee, nephew of Jack Pardee who played LB on the George Allen over the hill Redskins gang. Jack was traded to the Rams after Allen left WA and came to LA. Brook unfortunately passed away as a chby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Really really enjoyable read Mr Deadpool - thx for your insights! Had several follow up questions: 1. Do you think Rapp gets any reps replacing Kiser at SLB? 2. Read elsewhere that Henderson ran 20+ routes from the slot. (Doesn't mean that he ran them well). Still, can DH be a slot + jet sweep weapon? 3. The Rams struggled against Kamara (receptions) and Edelman and TEs. Does Rapp oby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
On July 19, 2008, Long agreed to terms on a six-year $56.5 million contract with the Rams with $29 million guaranteed. On July 29, 2012, Long and the Rams agreed to a four-year contract extension. The extension added $50 million over 4 years, with $27 million guaranteed. Long was cut on Feb 19, 2016, along with James Laurenitis and Jared Cook. Although surprising to some, the cuts aren'by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Will never forgive him for trying a Labeau Leap after the Philly game in the Coliseum Dec 2017. As an ex-Ram, he deserved to get pushed off. Then he tweeted about it. Classless, he should have known better.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Such a better strategy than flooding a certain position with picks and hoping one of them is a gem. Amazing how much improved the Rams are with Snead and McVay working as a team.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
All right, all right - so I've got a new man crush. But DH deserves it. So deep digging into a Fastasy Football article, I found the following gem: Among all 67 qualifying Division I running backs with over 75 career targets since 2014, Henderson ranks seventh-best (and best in the class) in career depth-adjusted yards per target (2.71). Henderson wasn’t just catching dumpoffs out of theby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Another tool in the wheelhouse for McVay. Remember the Gurley 50+ yard catch and run against Dallas 2 years ago? I see DH filling that role, as well as slot insurance for Kupp. I do hope that he can run routes well as a rookie, then again, he will have a limited route tree. DH averaged over 6 yards after contact which is astounding. How about 4 WRs with Kupp and DH in the slot, on either sby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Brockers underperformed as well last year. Is his and Suh's performance the reason BJ was let go? I actually love that mcvay did this but we never hear the reason why.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
he also helped us win against the Pack with his BIG hit on Ty Montgomery (who was waived the following day). Rogers with 2 minutes left and 2 points down was concerning. Ramik will remain, fondly, as a role player who came up HUGE in that game for me.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Snead's ability to forecast where a player may go and then get him! Trading up for Henderson Trading up for Gaines Now that's tempered/sobered a bit by Les' confession that they tried to get a DH-like RB last year but were outbid, but still, it's an outstanding job of moving back and then up. What I REALLY like is that other teams can't wait for the Rams to take a pick and out-guess themby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
My thoughts exactly.... This is the guy who will cover the Kamara's and other RBs out of the backfield. Maybe even Edelman. Great pick!!by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
First of all, Thanks 43 for calling this out in separate thread. You rock, man! DP, thank you for your real time posting plus all the 'extra' work you did to make it easy for us neophytes to join the party! Really cannot thank you enough as both myself and my 12 year old son have hung on your every word! If there were a way I could thank you in your 'other business of calving' I sure woulby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com

Littleton and Hill remain unsigned RFAs. Wish Myles would include that stuff but he does not - and I get it, he works for the Rams. Incomplete reporting TBHby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Garropolo's deal was 137M over 5 years Wilson gets 140M over 4 years Safe to say that Goff gets something in between.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
something that McVay definitely needs to improve on. Not just on offense but on D as well. Those TOs could well be the difference between challenging a DPI call or not.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm still not sure even after rereading that again. But if the $1M from the Rams takes down the Jags payment from 6.5 to 5.5, it seems like it's the same amount to BB. No matter what, it's a great deal to sign a backup QB for 1M with 60+ starts under his belt.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Bortles was getting 6.5M from the Jags no matter what. Any monies that the Rams ponied up go against the 6.5M, hence whether Bortles gets 6.5 from 5.5 + 1.0 or any other combo makes no difference to him. It's still 6.5M. t least that's how I interpreted it. Still a great deal for the Rams - backup QB makes less than Mannion would have if they kept him.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
DP, really appreciate the detail your thoughts/opinions. I was reflecting back on one key to Noteboom's and Allen's development in getting reps during practicing when Whit and Sully rested during the week. With Boom starting at LG, do you envision the Rams bringing in another player like him to get the reps behind Whit this year? I mean, if Boom is starting, I can't see him taking Whit's practby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com

This organization gets it DONE!! Love it love love it. One year, see how it goes, then re-up if warranted. No doubt that Fowler had only to look at his own history with the Jags to see what can happen in dysfunctional teams.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
Sosa K (The Messiah of Free Agency) @QBsMVP The Rams improved at FS, will be entitled to a possible comp pick, and are paying Weddle about 40% what they paid Joyner last year. Launch me to the moon.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com

Still think that the Rams should target "real free agents" (like Mosely) who are difference makers but they seem fixed on getting the highest possible comp pick. Comp picks are nice, no doubt but finding gems like a Whitworth should be targets as well. I get it - I get it - future picks are good but it still stings not getting a prime UFA like Mosely.by RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Rams have moved on from Saffold and will put Noteboom there. With Whit and Hav already taken care of, and Sully gone, I fear Saffold also will not get a Rams offer. Along with Allen at C, there are no backup OL unless you count Demby or Neary. I don't. So look for the Rams to sign a couple of low priced G/T types IMHO. And then draft other OL in the 6th/7th rounds. Also think thby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com

If we sign Paradis or any high priced UFA, the comp pick equation hurts. That's why I think the Rams may just get Houston since he was cut and does not factor into the comp pick equation. IMHOby RamsFanSince69 - RamsFootballFans.com
