QuoteSpeed_Kills Never did I read Max’s original point and think he was talking about the playoffs singularly We are pretty savvy fans here. Anyone thinking that he meant that a decision would be based singularly on this years playoff does a great disservice to max I have been perfectly clear that there are a number of different areas in which he will be measured. Certainly his performanceby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM I believe his playoff performance(s) will. I believe his playoff performance will be a factor too. A very small one relatively speaking. When you have two seasons by which to judge a QB, you're not gonna get an accurate assessment in 2 games, good or bad. If he's not clutch or doesn't perform well under pressure that will become evident as he continues playing. By the time he'sby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield It's the part where -as you say-the decision is made "do we want this guy or not". That's where his " performance" does comes in. After that the market takes over. Of course his performance will come into the equation but it's not gonna be based on the performance of 2 games. They have entire seasons by which they'll judge his performance.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRampage2K- The Bears struggled last week against a team we mopped the floor with. Head to head matchups are much more important and telling IMO. I'm worried about Chicago because they seemed to matchup perfectly against us. The team we mopped the floor with might be a team that Chicago doesn't matchup well against so that means nothing. Zero. Quotezn Quotedzrams This game didn't matter, at all. Rivalry be damned. The only reason he played the starters is because he learned from last year where we weren't sharp. But McVay is thinking about the playoffs as he should be. I have to disagree. They played the starters because the first round bye was at stake. Quotemax What I saw at the end of the game was the Niners doing everything they could to prevent Donald from getting the record. I also saw the Rams basically laying down and letting Kittle celebrate getting the record on our field. I take that as an insult. And our coaches, especially, let that happen. I find it very sad that as great as McVay has been, he doesn’t respect the Rams-Niby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach the team transformation under McVay/Philips should be fully made. I anticipate on being better next year...which means better defensively, larger in the receiving corps, deeper overall and Goff fully developed. QuoteSpeed_Kills Had Brown been healthy the Rams beat Chicago and Philly... thats how good I think he is Then McVay should be using him. But he didn't much...by dzrams - Game Time Forum
QuoteSpeed_Kills I’d take Brown every day He's definitely more powerful, I don't know about faster. Doesn't look like that to me. But anyway, there's more to RB than power and speed. Such as vision. CJ just seems to be more effective. It's hard to get better than the 2 games he just put together.by dzrams - Game Time Forum
QuoteLMU93 He hurt his shoulder against I think it was Minnesota. Wonder if that has lingered. And with their DL depth basically only Franklin Myers they have not been able to spell him maybe as much as hoped. Perhaps a first round bye could help him among others as well. Quoteferragamo79 sign a quality safety to pair with JJ next year draft a CB #1 and ride out another year of Talib and Peters I love Hill for depth if he is cheap and Christian is solid and NRC is the man I endorse this plan in principle. The only difference is, I don't think they have to have a CB #1; I'd be fine if they drafted a CB by the 3rd. Edge might be a higher need.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 makes such a huge difference for Goff Resign Saffold and perhaps sign a top flight FA Center Whitworth, Saffold, FA Center, Blythe and Hav There seems to be a very thin market for top flight FA centers this year. QuoteRams43 Father Time is still undefeated. Question is, is Brian Allen ready to take over? I hope it is. He is clearly susceptible to pressure up the middle. PFF confirms what we're all seeing. One big difference between Oline and Dline. Dlinemen are constantly rotated in to keep them fresh while starting Olinemen play nearly every snap for continuity. So when you draft Olinemen when you already have starters you usually don't get much from them. That's why typically those guys are late round draftees and UDFAs.
