Stafford was a 38 on the Wonderlic. Goff scored a 36 or the same as Bradford. However, as if they mean anything, Aaron Rodgers scored a 35, Brady a 33 and Mahomes a 24.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com

Simply that Watson never had a running game in Houston to run a TOP offense. Coach here seems to prefer pass first but Akers may change his mind quickly. So Watson here with a real RB could be a completely different QB that can run a hurry-up if needed.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
When did Houston have much of a running game in the past four years? David Johnson, Duke Johnson, D’Onta Foreman...? Lamar Miller may have been the best since Watson arrived and he's like third string now on the Washington team.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
And one more thing: * If Watson wants to be the QB of the Rams, he will be. In fact he will go pretty much wherever he wants to go, it's just a matter of time.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
Watson has carried the Texans into the playoffs two of his four years. Discounting his rookie season (he only started six games) and last year's O'Brien disaster, Watson is 21-10 in the regular season and 1-2 in the playoffs. And even last year when the team went 4-12, he had the most passing yards in the NFL (4,823) and the highest average per pass (8.2) with 33 TD passes and only 7 picks.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
Every draft is a craps shoot. There are draft gurus on here that know more about it than me but I think something like 50% of first rounders (and higher in later rounds) are out of the NFL within three years.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Having said all that, I don’t know if even Demoff/Snead can make the numbers work out. And even though Watson has that trade clause, I’m sure that there’s some point below which the Texans will NOT go. The longer it takes to make a deal, the lower the price I would think since Watson has the final say. How long will the Texans allow a disgruntled leader at QB into their camp and theby Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
I think there have been significant differences in coaching and teams also. Unless you think Houston is comparable to Seattle's during Wilson's first four years in the league. As a comparison during those four years: Russell: 106 TD's, 34 Int's, 13,974 yds in 64 games Watson: 104 TD's, 36 Int's, 14,539 yds in 54 games Individually their numbers are very comparable. But as team comparisby Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com

Namath's whole career was rough outside of his SB win. 13 years: 173 TD's, 220 Int's, 50.1% completion, career QB rating: 66.5 If he played nearly anywhere other than NYC, he would not be a HoF QB.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteheadslapper 5. Goff can be pretty ditzy as we have seen in interviews etc. Perhaps he is just not smart enough to be an NFL QB, he has elite skills but not an elite mind or passion. I think by choosing Wolford, he went with the elite mind and passion over skill. I am a fan and have never been player and there are 100 people in here that have forgotten more about the intricacies of footbby Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com

Great defenses always have the advantage. Or as George Allen once said "If you can keep the other team from scoring you will never lose." Need pressure, good coverage and strong tackling from start to finish. Remember this team is unbeaten under McVay if they have a halftime lead so the first half is critical, cannot get behind early. I think it looks stupid and they should stop or at least restrain themselves. But I also realize that they are in the entertainment business and they think it looks cool or whatever the word is they use today. The NFL eventually realized that with the old touchdown antics and can't really go back on it now.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteroman18 We can't use them the same way because they are not in the same mold (s). Brees is much more settled then Goff, Wolford has no where near the reps that Hill has. Brees is a down field passer, Goff is not in his range, Wolford is not near the threat as Hill, and Hill is a known threat. I think personally the more interesting game would be against the packers. I have no preference other than to win with whichever QB is running the offense. But I think the Rams have a unique opportunity, assuming both Goff and Wolf are healthy, to use both as the situation demands. Yesterday it was noted that the Hawks were unsure how to prepare their D since the 2 QB's run different styles of offense. McVey played it close to the vest to keep them guessing until gamby Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com

I said before the game that Wolf reminds me of Baker Mayfield and that hasn't changed. He will look great on one play and gamble on the next but his athletic talent is always obvious. He brings a swagger that Goff has never shown which is a leadership skill in the NFL. I would still start Goff in the playoffs but keep an eye on this kid, he could be special.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
Jared was 17-31, 134 yds, 0 TDs, 0 Ints, 11 rushing yds, 65.8 QB rating, lost to Miami 14-10 John was 22-38, 231 yds, 0 TDs, 1 Int, 56 rushing yds, 64.7 QB rating, beat Arizona 18-7 I know the Rams are better now but just as a comparison for rookies, very close.by Ramboni - RamsFootballFans.com
