Everett talking on NFL now right now. First thing he mentions is how the Ferragamo jerseys look so good lol. almost got roped into actually publicly dissing the new unis but caught himself. Promoting vaccine event and talking about the team and SoFi stadium. Also funny video of him sitting next to a fan with his jersey at SoFi. Everett was an awesome guy and very nice to his fans back in the day.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam In college height and speed can be enough. In the NFL, it takes more. Technique is a huge factor. Timing on routes. Positioning. So much more. If he was ready to contribute in that regard, he would be. Obviously, he's not there yet. I think the same thing with Tutu Atwell. I agree but from how glowing the reviews were in camp it seems like he was able to do those things. Heby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Sometimes you can have too many weapons especially if they're all the same type. Harris is a pure WR type. We already have 3 superior WRs, with Jefferson growing right before our eyes. Higbee is a really good contributor in the passing game as is Henderson. And the Rams are hardly using the fastest guy on their team, DeSean Jackson, at all. I just don't see a place forby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
I was super excited about all the hype for this guy coming out of camp and so far it's been crickets. I have seen him only on a handful of plays. I wish they would think twice about converting this guy to te and just let him mix it up out there and let him play outside, slot, move him around the backfield etc. He is a mismatch nightmare with kupp, woods, Jefferson, Jackson, Higbee. Quotealyoshamucci But like ... Elijah and Rondale Moore are beasts. Drafting Eskridge and tutu in the same round? Assumes they're the same class. It's not close. I don't know what they expected but like ... they could have drafted Nico Collins. And for the record... DJax was a monster in college then trained with Jerry Rice. Tutu wasn't a monster. Jefferson is a good receiver. He has excellent routes, his hands look good, he also seems physical as a blocker, really high football iq. With all that said he is definitely a 3rd wr. He doesn't have the explosive which is fine but he doesn't have that big play ability like woods and kupp. His yac isn't going to be like the other guys. He is a first down machine and solid red zone td guy. Perfectby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Tutu was so obviously a bad pick from day one. I believe if there would have been a combine we might have a different story. He seems to have good straightline speed but has no lateral quickness. His routes are straight up speed outs and he rounds the hell out of them. He can't turn the corner for being a 4.3 guy and it doesn't make sense. He is a good decoy and if he is wide open I'm sure he canby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Don’t you guys suppose that the Rams considered his size, catch radius, and blocking abilities very carefully before spending their #57 on Atwell? C’mon… Apparently not, I get it that mcvay was hot and heavy for tutu. But what is his strength going to be as a #4 receiver if he ever gets there. Every time I think of tutu I think of one of the best lines I heard from Jalen Ramsey tby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotepromomasterj This is kind of the McVay way. The scheme takes a while to master, and you are expected to block. Jefferson didn't see the field much last year either and he had size and pedigree. One thing I hope the Rams do is stipulate a weight for him to hit by mini camp or training camp. Teams do this with too-heavy lineman sometimes. Here it would be the reverse. QuoteRams43 Atwell was a classic Rams ‘next year’ pick, dude. Rams have been doing those very successfully at other positions for years. This one may or may not work out, but only time will tell. I intend to wait and see. FWIW, I gather that Atwell was a player that McVay fell in love with once McVay became obsessed with the need for that speedy deep threat once again. Same here I checked the inactives he wasn't on it. But let's be honest it is kind of hard to see the guy anyway on a sideline of giants.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes very similar, to me neither was a catch. You can see the ball moving on Scotts interception as well as with Higbee's. You could say that the angle was harder to see with Scotts and that could be a reason but who knows.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Sitting the bench I didn't see him get any action on special teams. I thought he was sick but that was a few weeks ago.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
I would like to see how many multiple play drives we have allowed. We can't seem to get other teams to punt this year. Our defense looks tired after most games and offense has been off the field for extended periods of time. We're not getting the three and outs. Here is an article I just found kind of confirms what I have been saying about it a little old I think after cards game.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Its called someone else should be able to beat there man if Donald is constantly taking on double teams. We overload the players that they can block and donald can't be double teamed and if so we will have free rushers. But to beat the olineman playing red Rover with Donald he has to use more of his speed.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
In all fairness I think tutu was ruled out with illness. Don't quote me on this but I thought I saw this. Upon confirmation He wasn't inactive or sick. He was just flat out benched.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
The new tradition is to change the tradition so there is no tradition. QuoteRams43 You don’t see ANY upside to Atwell other than his speed, ellard? Some pretty smart football people took him at 57 and other teams were reportedly ready to pounce right after them. Sooooo… To me he doesn't seem like a guy that is going to break tackles, make great run blocks, go up and make the difficult catch, juke everyone on punt returns, kickoffs, bubble screens, catch fade roby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Rams like to draft skill players with their earliest picks. They also like to draft players one year early to best develop them. DJ will almost certainly be gone next year, so Atwell is just the latest in a very long line of ‘next year’ players drafted. When considering the above 2 points the Atwell pick fits with previous Ram strategy nicely. I’ll also say this. The moreby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com

Don't know about Rochelle this week he was getting toasted all game. He did make a decent play but he was abused all game. It was rough outing for him kind of like long last week. Teams are picking on our 3rd cb whether it's long or Rochelle.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM It doesn't seem in the least odd to me... and injuries? On a fair catch? When do you ever see a punt returner go out for a fair catch? The only time you put your hands guys in is for a expected onside kick. It's very odd to take out your starting punt returner in situations where you think a fair catch is involved. If you fumble or bobble a fair catch you are free game also. I doby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
I know everyone is beating up on long for the Cardinals game and he did not play well but I don't think that he is bad because he had a hard time with AJ Green. You don't take your starting punt returner out and put your injury susceptible star receiver back there to field fair catch punts unless your worried about said starting punt returner not being able to fair catch a punt in a early regular season game.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
