I don't know. Maybe the undefeated team that lost in the superbowl. That would be the only team of the Patriots his past 20 years that had the most talent and they finished runner up. I believe Belicheck could take many teams in the NFL and have them in the playoffs. I don't believe Brady would have as much of an impact as Belicheck with helping other teams win. In fact, I stated befby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
but I do get your point that there could be a customized role carved out so I am not dismissing your argument completely. I believe those 3 (Cooks, Woods, Kupp) are all very good and they are already sharing between them. If they were other teams, they all could be "The Guy". All are top 30 WRs in the NFL and you want to keep feeding the beast. On top of that, McVay has imby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Issue is players are playing so much better for McVay vs Fisher on the offensive side of the ball I believe it is for the following reasons: 1) Player Development (Fundamentals and Knowledge) 2) Diversity in offense (Defense has to be ready for anything) 3) Spacing on offense (McVay spreads out the field) 1+2+3 = 4 4) Players are energized because there are so many opportunities forby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Otherwise, it be crazy to take off one of those other 3 guys off the field, acting like this is some kind of YMCA event where everybody needs to get a participation trophy.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I want these guys out on the field if they are healthy. Reynolds to me is a significant drop off and we don't need to be losing a game that is there for the winning. He can play when these guys are not ready. If they are ready, play the guys that put us at the very top of the league on offense.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I played Jeffries from the Eagles to hedge the bet this week. I normally play both Rams. I am leaning towards playing Kupp.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
it is dreadful to watch the Bills and poor McCoy is experiencing what Todd Gurley had to go through with Fisher. I know you were talking about the weather vs the Bills, but man that Bills offense is the sadest thing since the Rams offense before McVay.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
He obviously is better than he was thought of with the Rams, but I think he kind of went from one extreme to another and was overvalued in the offseason. playing with Fisher was like playing with 2 hands tied behind your back and he went to the Vikings and kind of surprised some defenses. Now defenses have a book on him playing in a real NFL offense and it is a little tougher. Plus, the Brby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
He probably would use Watkins differently and he be more effective. I think Watkins problems are off the field. He is confused and can't just a ball for a reason. I also think he was better year 1 and year 2 than he is now years later which leads me to the conclusion and watching him play. Of course, health is another issue and maybe he never recovered from foot issues which impactsby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
watching that SF / ARI game was hard to watch. Those teams are bad right now. You flip it to the other games at the same time and there is a noticeable difference in energy level and ability to execute even the most basic plays.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Teams still have a chance but the grind of the season takes a toll and travel screws up body recovery from week to week. I am going with most of the home teams on these close spreads this week. The other 2 factors I consider is the injury report and who needs the win more in the standings. Home Team, healthier team, who needs a win for playoff contention is a good pick.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
so I guess I should probably flip him and Ryan. At least Ryan won a couple of playoff games that one year, he got MVP. But both are disappointments in that area. I do love Stafford's toughness. Saw him once in a game play after a big time hit with a separated shoulder in closing moments of the game come back in and win the game. He is one of those players that track and field speed doesn't equate to game speed. He seems to play faster than advertised.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Of course, he is going to be better as a young player for a few years, but give him Fisher in year 2 and he is still near the bottom the NFL as a QB. Give him McVay in year 1 and he is right up there with Wentz as a top QB in the NFL.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
He carried that team many years. I will say this. After Duper and Clayton aged, we went from elite to good as we find with almost all QBs except for Aaron Rodgers. When they lose their weapons, it makes things tough. But 5th most wins of all time with a team that had a bad defense is about as good as it gets.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
This is without thinking much but here is a list of 14. 1) Rodgers (Greatest player in NFL history and even on 1 leg and a bad team around him has made some magic this year.) 2) Brady (He is old but still hanging onto greatness.) 3) Goff (He is flying by the pack and has one of the top offensives coach in the league if not the best, but making the most of it.) 4) Brees (Just broke all-timeby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff was a bust in year 1. He looked lost and didn't know how to play. Had no confidence. Couldn't read anything. But the real reason is he had no options and the defenses knew that the Rams ran nothing on offense and only had to defend a handful of plays in the middle of the field. Now, he is an elite player. In fact, I would rank Goff at the moment, the 3rd QB that I would take.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
in that era. The Dolphins just had a bad defense most of those years. Elway landed that great offensive line and Terrell Davis late in his career, but up until that time really didn't put together that many good offenses.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Would the Rams wrs ranked 1 drop all the way down to 32 Remember gurley and Goff were below average players his last year and there were some that labeled Goff a complete bust. This is why I loved Martz and loved mcvay. The ability to develop players, motivate them, and put them in position to be successful.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
with next week. I feel when teams have time to prepare, this will be trouble if these guys are out. There is a noticeable difference between the top 3 WRs and the other guys. Yesterday, the creative play calling and Gurley's mental toughness masked this issue. I get Reynolds made 3 plays in a row that were nice, but to me, but I just don't think it will be the same. Will the team goby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think there is a significant drop off from top 3 WRS to the other guys. I know Reynolds made a few catches, but I felt the offense kind of sneaked through that 2nd half with some creative calls from the coach and Gurley putting his foot on the gas. I don't think that when a team has a chance to prepare that this is the same team without those 2 WRs. I know I am in the minority but my guby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

Belicheck did it late in the game against the Colts and Manning years ago and it didn't work out, but I still feel that was the right call as I feel this was the right call. In this case, I actually think that Seattle thought it was just to pull them offsides and the Rams kind of went quick and caught them being a little tentative. Not convinced JUST GOT IT OFF IS BEHIND us. in fact, the Rams were out of timeouts from various confusion and play clock count downs. Great win, but to me that element is still a concern. the down by 31-30 to get a field goal, with the entire 4th quarter to go does not give me that warm feeling that the debacles from last year are over when trailing late and time is an element.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

Gregg Williams despite doing a decent job with the Rams, should not be in the NFL. His bounty gate deserved a lifetime band and a 30 day jail sentence. The man planned and executed successfully the end of careers for Kurt Warner, Peyton Manning, and Bret Farve.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
That some key pieces that were acquired under Fisher. Now, Goff and Gurley would have continued to be below average players had he remained the coach and had an active role in the offensive coaching, but he did pick up 3 great players in the draft. On the other hand, he used the 2nd overall pick, Greg Robinson, in a knucklehead move that made no sense at all from the get go, where that pickby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
that series cost the Rams the superbowl last year and despite the great offense, unless that got fixed and we haven't seen it yet, the Rams will not make it to the superbowl. Somewhere along the line, the horrific come from behind offense from last year will be tested and that will be the key to getting the homefield advantage.
