Oh, and I forgot Ramsey and Floyd. Pretty good themselves. And bringing Weddle in off retirement? That is a Kurt Warner like story.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Hats off to this guy. He got us Stafford, Von and OBJ. His late round and I drafted depth picks are playing well. He got us Gay. His draft got us EJ. His prior 3rd rounder is now the best WR in the history of football. Signed Michel. Got us Floyd. Drafted Gaines and Higs. Signed Whit. What an incredible job. Guys were falling like flies and he brings in better players. Of course McVay gets crediby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Going to the Chargers from the Rams would be like going from the Lakers to the Clippers when the Lakers were champions. Actually the Clippers are pretty good now as are the Chargers but the point remains. If OBJ wants to do commercials and even movies he stays a Ram. Also, most guys want to be on a SB winning team. If we win it all players will be begging to sign up for McVay. Last year, TB wonby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this goes beyond a penalty by the Laurie, be it suspension and/or fine. If I was Stafford, I would go over to the police and file an assault charge. This wasn't part of the game. This was aggravated assault and he should go to prison for it. AND he should be suspended for a very long time and have to pay a hefty fine.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
He might be a better blocker and he looked great on his targets, but if he was better than Higs he'd start over him. Higs had some special ability. He has terrific hands and can really RAC. He's a solid blocker too. Very happy Blanton emerged, but let's not go crazy.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
You're right. Those are all huge plays. To me, this is how big plays break down...1. scoring plays. Obviously putting up a TD or even a FG means a lot, especially when the entire idea is to outs ore your opponent. 2. Turnovers. They usually change the momentum of the game as they often lead directly to scores. 3. Penalties. Some huge calls can have impact of the outcome, especially PI, where yoby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Getting JD back would be big. He was having an amazing season before his injury. He was playing so well, he was keeping Gaines off the field. Being able to rotate those through the NT position should keep each fresh. I really like Hendu but don't see him doing much except if Akers or Michel goes down at this point. Rochel I agree will not play much.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I like him. Our WR corps looked amazing for next season if our current guys all return and adding in the injured guys. Our starting four- Kupp, OBJ, Jefferson and SKOW. Powell is STs star and #5. Add Woods, Atwell and Harris and now we are up to 8 very talented pass catchers. Woods as our #3 would be uncoverable by another team's #3 DB. Jefferson should make mincemeat out of any opponent's #4 DBby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
We don't have a second rounder next year. Traded it for Von.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, all that's true but he threw a couple of lasers as well.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
This crew loves to throw flags. They penalize everybody. That could work in our favor as we were one of the least penalized teams. It could also kill the flow to the game. I want them to call the obvious ones and let the minor ones go. I want consistency and fairness.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I went to the practice at SOFI and TuTu blazes. They had DJ and Harris and TuTu and they all flew.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, our team did leave us for 20 of those years. But, even then, that's a long time between title games.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't agree that Kittle is a lesser problem. I do think in the last game we did a better job of containing him. We can't get all worried about their WR and forget about Kittle. The guy is way too good. To me, he is still their best player on offense. He run blocks really well, has great hands and is great RAC. As far as the backs are concerned the last game when the Niners were raging back we tby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
You know, I like our HC's enthusiasm. He should be thrilled when we score a TD. I think he needs to restore his intensity afterward and he needs to coach until the clock reads zeroes.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I can't imagine anybody with other options wanting to join the Jags. I would think any coach would want to join the Rams.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh, I have listened to that album several times and they play individual songs from it all the time. Nope. Don't get them. I liked The Wall and thought it was timely. Moon? Not so much.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that a Pink Floyd reference? Never understood that band. Don't get their name. Don't get their lyrics. Don't get them.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it's going to be another nail biter. I wish you were right.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Interesting. Looks like we have a flight advantage in ST. Surprised done if the numbers are so close.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Accord to McVay Jones should play. SJD probably not. I can't remember Hendu.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally agree. Nearly impossible to stop a quick slant and the end arounds are tough too. I don't see us being great at developing screens so I wouldn't call a lot of those, but the little swing pass in the flat is almost always good for 7 or 8 yards.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Very true. Not agitated at all.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
They split up the carries pretty equally. Akers had 17 carries for 3.2 average. Michel had 13 carries. Funk got 2. I think they will continue to split them.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Thrilled he was able to play. Still don't see all this greatness. Thought the OL did a great job blocking and both backs did well. I like Akers As a receiver. Still don't get the pop shots against Hendu. Like all 3. Hope we use them all.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Rewatched the 1985 playoff game we had against the Cowboys where ED ran for 248. Besides Dieter Brock's struggles we looked awesome. The unis were supreme. ED was at his best. Our D was terrific. Our STs were loaded. We had current All Pros and future All Pros all over the field. It's on YouTube and is very fun to watch.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
That's a strange score. So, for us to get 30 we need 4 TDS and two extra pointers and two two point plays. Or ten FGs. Or 3 TDS and 3 FGs. Or maybe 4 TDS and a safety? Okay. Got it. And the Cards are getting 26? 3 TDS, a FG and a safety? 4 TDS but two misses on extra points.? 8 FGs and a safety? 3 TDS with 3 2-pt conversions and a safety? 13 safeties? Yep, I'll go with the 13 safeties. Whyby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
Nope. In the press conference he said he knew the ref needed to touch the ball to activate the next play. He felt that they just didn't execute well enough. It was an exceedingly bad play to run. A pro QB should be able to reach the end zone and you either heave it or continue to throw boundary passes. No time for any running play with no time outs. Couldn't believe it when he took off and was evby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
You are totally right! The Rams' worst enemy is the Rams. When we play a decent game we win. We were 7-1 when Stafford was hit and we played clean. Then, 3 game losing streak to good teams, but it was our mistakes, interceptions, fumbles, etc that cost us wins. The biggest exception to all that is both losses to the Niners. They kicked the crud out of us the first game. We had a great first haby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com
