Trying to find the old post where one of you met KD and was like, hey I heard AD was going be blah blah blah. Just thought it would be hilarious if it was close.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com

Yeah just one tweet can multiply into many tweets as some people hop on the report and post it themselves, then more reputable see so many different tweets or reports (all coming from a single rogue tweet mind you) and they think it must be legit, etc This is the reality of the new media not just in sports.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
So a 6.1% increase in the highest QB salary of 2017 would be a little over $25 million, but we see 2018 salaries much higher. Instead what we see for 2018 is $30 million being the top pay. That is over a 20% increase in top QB pay. So if you are paying players 20% more when the cap only increased 6% you can see the math does not add up. The arguments that AD should be paid a percentage basby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Is the cap increasing 12% a year? If it is less then that then QBs are taking up more of the cap % which leaves less for the other positions. With the reality of QB $ inflating faster than cap increases, the argument of tying all salaries to QB doesn't make any sense at all. In fact, if the cap inflation is less that means less money for the others actually.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Donald on the DL?by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
clearly one of the reasons he came to us was to play alongside AD. If that does not happen not only would I be bummed to miss an historic opportunity but i would also feel like Suh got a little bait and switched.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
as i read the offense part i was like hey downfield passes require time, so how do you defense is? Defense line has to be good. Our OL is the only thing that can stop that, they are central place for running and passing. So attack the line. On offense you throw a lot of screens and work the middle. TE work might be a way to take advantage as well.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Suh! the idea of playing together and making history is too much to miss out on.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
This thinking that the salary cap will go up indefinitely reminds me of the housing crash of 2008. Teams that spend as if it will always go up forever will crash eventually. The next contract with TV will be lower for a few reasons. The salary cap could eventually go down as well. Look at the NBA, there are plenty of great players being paid less with new contracts this year then mediocre playby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Vonn Miller has the highest contract and the was in 2016. Contracts go up every year and so AD should be much higher. Seems like people tend to use both these points together whereas they logically contradict each other. If contracts go up every year perhaps Miller was overpaid since he is still the highest.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Wether it was intentional or not, seems the affect is already in place. This article seems to already buying into the narrative that is ADs side not the Rams.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Read my next post down where I explain it a little better.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
I do not mean they are intentionally overpaying etc. I mean the timing of it. Perhaps AD was the priority but since they could not get it done they moved on and are signing other guys first instead. If they offered AD a great contract and his agent says no then he watches as two of his teammates get great contracts, hopefully AD will question what is going on.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
So one thought I had about the Gurley extension is possibly a way to show everyone (fans, media, etc) that the Rams are not being cheap. Some would say Gurley was overpaid. The reasoning is if the Rams just paid big for Cooks and Gurley and they say they want to sign AD, perhaps they are trying to show the World (including AD) that they do take care of their own. I do not like AD's agent, andby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
I was a little disappointed. He chose three game changing plays. How does any coach not remember huge game changing plays? I think he is very impressive but this test did not show his skills off imoby headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
Watkins signed for 16 million a year over 3 years. That is the big difference. After three years, Watkins (if he performs) will get more then 16 million for those next two years. We have Cooks cost controlled for a lot longer!by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com

If we wanted to get a EDGE we probably would have kept the pick knowing Raiders were going edge, unless of course the Raiders say who they want and the Rams have Sweat rated higher for example. Let's see what happens, finally.by headslapper - RamsFootballFans.com
