QuoteMalibuRam Maybe it's time to hire an actual OC, offense is stale. McVay doesn't seem to be a great game time field tactician. Kevin O'Connell currently has the job and the title of "Offensive Coordinator" for the Rams. However, it doesn't do any good to have an "actual" OC if the Head Coach doesn't give the OC the freedom to perform his job. That seems to be a majorby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBearlyThere Is this to light a fire, or is he preparing us for a future without Goff? If the first one doesn't get the desired results, then the 2nd one's gonna happen so it could be both. McVay will give Goff the chance to compete for the job but if he can't deliver and be the QB he wants and needs for him to be, then he's gone. 5 years is long enough that Goff should have elevateby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
Packers did their homework and found ways to exploit us. Why do we not ever seem to manage to do the same? I asked this the other day... why is it that McVay usually gets one-upped by his friends/good buddies for a W but he can't seem to do the same to them? I don't mean to be critical... just seems like other HC's who know him well have more rabbits in their hats than we do. Rob Boras Jayby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com

Other than that, both teams have their own practice facilities and team headquarters, right? QuoteRams43 What does it say about McVay when his QB has been regressing for approx 40 games and McVay can’t stop it or work around it? Hmmmmm... It tells me 1. McVay doesn't know how to develop Goff or maximize his strengths 2. McVay expects Goff to develop himself 3. McVay expects Goff to operate at a certain standard but doesn't give him the help needed to do it 4. The relationsby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
I watched the play where the injury occurred and I didn't see an obvious hit to his head. His head kinda scraped the ground a bit when he was tackled but I didn't see anything happen that would have had him seeing stars.... which he definitely was. He couldn't even stand on his own two feet. They took him to the medical tent but after a couple of minutes, he trotted into the locker room. Itby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
We have on Offensive Coordinator. Officially, it's Kevin O'Connell. In reality, it's Sean McVay. It's not going to matter who has the title as long as McVay insists on calling the plays himself.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
Unless somebody forces McVay to do otherwise (nobody can do that except Kroenke and he's not gonna do it), I see this as a problem that's not going to go away. McVay likes calling the offensive plays and he sees himself as being good at it. Until HE honest-to-gawd feels the need to turn that job over in its entirety to the Offensive Coordinator, we can look forward to more of the same.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com

How come it seems like McVay gets beat soundly by guys who he's friends with or who've worked with him before? There's always talk about how well these guys know each other and this is gonna be a "chess match" of a game but the other guy either knows McVay better than McVay knows him.... or he's just a better chess player. Last year the XFL started up right after the Super Bowl so some kinda football was continuing on for another 8 weeks or so. The games were really fun to watch and the St Louis Battlehawks AND their growing fan base were exactly what the XFL was hoping for.
