A quality edge rusher in the 2nd round would be the ideal scenario for the Rams, in my opinion. Early line on centers in this Draft (i.e. good ones to be had in the 3rd)?by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Via Pro Football Focus SEATTLE SEAHAWKS Biggest strength: The passing offense once looked like one of the best in the NFL, but can Wilson & Co. replicate that in the Wild-Card round? Russell Wilson opened the 2020 campaign by orchestrating what was undoubtedly one of the best passing attacks in the NFL. The Seahawks signal-caller was the second-highest-graded passer in the NFL throughby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. The OL has to take it upon themselves to really assert themselves in this game. Whitworth arrives at exactly the right time in my opinion.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. My general rule is I dont but a jersey of anyone younger than me (49...). Someone gave me a Gurley jersey for Christmas 2017 which I certainly appreciated but I put it in our clothing donations pile months ago...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams were 22nd in the league in revenue in 2019. Obviously no relevant 2020 data. Their social media followings have grown at a faster rate than most teams the past 3-4 years. Theyre far from one of the top 5 brands in the league but they have gained traction and, once the stadium can open with fans, it will certainly help.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with all those, especially the last 3.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I am hoping his ankle has continued to progress and he can be close to 100% Saturday. Combined with Whitworth starting again that may be the boost they need. This could be an OL gut check game where they say, "OK, it's on us to go win this thing." Go run for 150+, no penalties. That's my hope, at least...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I was surprised last Sunday to see such a small bandage on the thumb and him tossing some passes. But I still have a hard time seeing him playing 12+ days after surgery and screw(s) inserted. But who knows....by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. Hill has been very good overall the past 4 years but they can't keep him. They have Ramsey, Williams and Long. Go find a 4th CB to develop in the Draft. By the way if these contract estimates held true the Rams would (pending outside signings the Rams make that may cancel one out) net two 4th and two 6th round compensatory picks in 2022.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
He's 29 years old. This will be his last chance at a sizeable NFL contract. He's made half-decent money the past two years ($6M combined) after making NFL minimum his first 4 years. This is it for him. And teams will come calling because he's had career highs in INTs (3), PD (10), tackles (77) and fumble recoveries (2).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he's right. Also about "find your freaking check down...."by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hill is making about $4.4M this year and will be looking (rightfully) for a raise. Look at it this way. The Rams will be able to return 7 of their 9 DBs (Ramsey, Williams, Fuller, Burgess, Rapp, Scott, Long). That's a good place top be. They need Long to be ready to elevate his contribution next year. He played 116 snaps on defense and that needs to double next year. I also wouldn't be sby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with both their issue of predictability out of the shotgun and inability to run effectively. A team that is so built around play action should be under center most of the time in my opinion. I get with Wolford there is the RPO thing but in general just saying.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

No idea about this Draft at all yet. But philosophically taking a center at #53 or 57 or wherever they end up could be a very positive move. Top centers rarely come off the board before #20-30 in the Draft so in the 50s you can usually get the 2nd or at least 3rd highest rated center in the Draft. It's a critical position that impacts the entire OL. I have liked Blythe the past 4 years but Iby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
It's an understated issue, in my opinion. Everett and even Mundt have been blown up way too much in the running (and sometimes passing) game this season. For a lot of teams it would be dismissed, but upgrading the TE2 with good blocking ability would go a LONG way for this offense I think. Noteboom has shown he's 'capable' and maybe he still has room to grow. Who knows what a full, healthy offby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree. He showed some very positive signs and I think the Rams can feel good should he need to start again this week- especially with Whitworth and Kupp coming back. But regardless of anyones thoughts about Goff there is just no way to discern much more about Wolford yet. He was poised, made some very good plays and won the game. But he did not throw for 350 yards and 4 TDs. Im glad they haveby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Have you seen Christen Harper? I mean...he should get some credit showing up to the facility every day...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
...but Kyle Brandt makes A LOT of sense here.... Of course, Burleson and Schrager make some valid points too.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
By the way, an old friend of mine was an All-American MLB for Cal in the '90s. Drafted by KC but only ever played a couple games. Goff: I think the question is not what he can and cannot do but how to get him back to what he can do. Everything the Rams want from him he has shown many times he can produce. Not a game here or there. 2 FULL seasons under McVay and then in some games here and thby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes. For 2021 that 17th game is AFC North vs NFC West, 1st place vs 1st place, 2nd vs 2nd, etc.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Pending final owners' approval of the 17-game season.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd like to see Morgan Fox return in 2021. He's improved every year and been a really nice DL contributor this year.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hopkins is a guy they clearly selected with an eye on 2021. I would call him one of their 3-4 most important young guys to develop this offseason. But I wouldn't count on him having a big role this Saturday. He has played a grand total of 2 snaps on offense and 50 on special teams this year.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams' defense has a tougher test on Saturday. But does the offense? You can easily argue Arizona's defense is better than Seattle's. The way Wolford settled down and improved, showed poise, etc. during the ARZ game I feel good if they need to start him. I just don't see how fracturing, having surgery on and getting screws put into your thumb on December 28th allows you to practice and theby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
There are quite a few WR-needy teams that will take a look at him. I'll bet he gets a pretty good FA deal come March.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what I'd say. He's had some moments/games where he's really showed up and others when not. Has he lived up to being the 44th pick in 2017? Probably not. Has he been a bust? Hardly. Averaged 37 catches the past 3 seasons. TE2 is definitely a spot they can look to upgrade, though.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
It's the name of the game for the 2020 Rams. They have lived or died by it. As I posted in another thread, in my opinion it's WAY more important for them than their mediocre redzone scoring percentage. They moved the ball well- after the first (FG) drive of the 2nd half their time-of-possession- margin was about 29 to 8. It wasn't redzone play calling that kept the game close, it was an Akersby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think if the Rams don't turn the ball over next Saturday or make any big special teams mistakes we should expect them to win. And I actually say that regardless of who's at QB. The Rams know they left an opportunity on the table last week and want to right the wrong. Donald said as much. Like you said, a healthier Akers PLUS presumably Whitworth's return may give them a boost. Beyond that, Iby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
