WE may be going in blind, but Wade is not. They saw Kiser every day in practice. If they werent comfortable with him they would have sought a replacement. A veteran ilb is not expensive relatively speaking.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Wasnt there just a thread that said Gil Brandt is too old and should have retired years ago?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Of Brandt’s top 100 players in 2018, only 20 of them wound up being selected outside the top 100 selections for a 80% success rate.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
im goign to have to agree with you ont his one. i have them keeping 9 ol and 4 ilb. but youre right, its too early. Quotezn I don;t know...it's way early, but I don't see them carrying just 8 OL, and then 5 OLB, 5 ILB, 6 CBs, and 5 safeties. Though MAYBE on the 5 safeties. For VB, that's 21 LBs and DBs. I think it's going to be more like 17-18 LBs and safeties. And...I am such a typo klby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Interesting hypothesis. I hadn't really considered that. Maybe you're right.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Consensus is not synonymous with "unanimity" though that may be a rule agreed to in a decision making process. But the reason we are talking about it is that you have suggested that the rams brass do not disagree on any draft pick. For that to be true all the time all the decision makers must unanimously agree on all decisions. Logic as well as minimal observations of human behavior sugby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
While I realize mcvay and snead talk a bunch about building consensus achieving it 100 percent of the time is simply unrealistic.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
What would you attribute that to?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'll ask again.... If you want to believe the complete consensus model is a real thing then each person involved in the process can take a position on a player. Yes? if fisher argued persuasively for GRob to be ranked #2 while Snead preferred to rank him later..say #10 during the consensus building process. Who would be more responsible for the GRob pick?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah..i didnt watch the whole thing cuz i didint want to get angry (lol) but i noticed blythe getting beat several times.one game doesnt make a career but he didnt have a good game.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
ok, so even if you want to believe the complete consensus model is exactly what they say it is, each person involved in the process still takes a position. for example, if fisher argued persuasively for GRob over Sneads objections during the consensus building process, and they ultimately ranked Grob #2 overall, isnt GROB still a fisher pick?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i agree its a collaborative process, but i just dont see this "complete consensus" model as very realistic or plausible model, 43. Yes I agree they try to, and yes I agree it can occur the majority of the time. But sometimes two or three well meaning and intelligent people will disagree (the ourlads scouts talk about this in building their board as well) and no amount of talking and disby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
what happens when mcvay and snead simply disagree about a player as often happens in real life? lets say snead ranks player A #1 and mcvay ranks the same player #10. they compromise on #5. when the draft occurs, player A is on the board and snead is ready to pull the trigger, but mcvay really wants player B because mcvay still thinks Player B is better than Player A. Who makes the choice? IMO sby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
like i said many times, i dont agree with your interpretation of the rams draft process. imo its not possible to ALWAYS come to a consensus. were going to have to agree to disagree.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com

As I recall many analysts felt that the rams signing of woods was a bad deal.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
So I told you. I replied directly to a question you asked of me. It's not personal and certainly not derogatory. Perhaps you don't mean to but the way in which you expressed your opinions in this thread implies to me at least that you are unwilling to accept their might be another explanation. The funny thing is is that I'm inclined to agree with you but personally I'm willing to accept the possby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
You can do or say whatever you want. But the problem for me is that you dont just deny a single alternative but the possibility of ANY alternative explanation based on limited and censored information.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I too find it amusing when some posters deny the possibility of any alternative interpretation of information besides their own especially when we all know that we dont have all the information on a given topic. But whatever..to each his own. Cant teach an old dog new tricks.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
well thats not really my question. my question is whether its lying to attribute the lack of touches to mcvay's playcalling as apposed to injury or whatever term you want to use?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay and the rams have continually said that that Gurley was not "hurt" or "injured" but rather he didn’t do a good enough job getting him him the ball. Are they liars?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
It's that simple. You can easily pay a great QB, top QB type money and have enough left over to keep enough quality players around him. Rams should pay him before they have to pay more. Let the love flow. go rams.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
