Wasn't it shotty who got Fisher to try a fast paced, spread, pass happy attack w Bradford? We signed Cook and he had a massive catch and run and then fumbled. Seem to remember that being Schotty.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Pretty cool. But the DL left his feet to swat the ball. Still impressive strength.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
The team can be the same but the ball bounces differently, or a deep throw gets better not caught. That's variance. When looking at a team's record pay close attention to one score games. If they did better than .500 in those games they are not as good as their record most likely. Especially on defense driven teams or teams that have a high positive turnover differential.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Not explosive. Like w the Rams. But hit holes well and had a nice dive in td from the two.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
Using Ramsey unpredictably is very appealing to me. If the qb thinks he's just shadowing the other team's Wr1 , playing him as a robber or blitzer could be beneficial by taking the opponent by surprise. Donald should just rush the passer. But for dbs I think varying what they do is beneficial.by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Regarding Earl flipping off Carroll...nearly everyone that is a Seahawks fan supported Earl on that move. Earl is a legend. One of the best ever and a sure fire hall of famer. Dude just wanted to get compensated. He saw what happened to Cam, Sherman, Bennett, and Avril. He finally relents and plays on a his very team friendly deal. And boom. Get hurt. This is not a very interesting topic for me. But I will throw a few things out there. 1. Cam has never been accurate. Give him the spots outside the hashes and take away the less difficult throws with db leverage. 2. Patriots skill players are bad. The only player they have who can win a one v one is Edelman. He's a tough target for an inaccurate QB to hit. Cam is likely the one ofby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

Thanks for the pressures stats. I think diving into the why for these pressures would be very revealing. For one, Goff holds onto the ball. Not saying it in a bad way but he definitely is trying to make a play moreso than avoid getting hit. So, what amount of the responsibility for the pressures is the oline, is Goff, and then game situation. Also, just off the top of my head I know some plays wby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

I think the mismatch idea is a bit overstated. Teams play the Rams 11 personnel mostly out of nickel. If we sub in Hopkins and take out Higbee or Kupp, Im not bringing a lb in. If anything, I'm more likely to go-to dime w Higbee out. Assuming Everett is in as well. Just don't see teams in base enough to get any advantage out of these no block receiving tight ends. Other than size the Wrs areby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
This doesn't make sense to me. Woods and Kupp, are the same speed and better blockers than Everett and Hopkins.. I don't see defenses changing personnel based on whether the Wrs or those two Tes are in the game. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe substitutions to keep players fresh...by cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteClassicalwit It appears to me that the Rams have historically not placed that great of an emphasis on measurables like 40 times, physical strength, size, etc., preferring instead a more holistic approach which focuses on intangibles. That's why I think they haven't drafted players like Metcalf and Claypool. I could see him being drafted by the Ravens, Raiders, 49ers, Eagles, or Patriots. Iby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm a huge fan of Everett. He is our best isolation receiver bar none. Explosive and great after the catch. In regards to not beating out Higbee, in my mind they play two separate positions. Everett and Higbee run different types of routes and Higbee blocks more often than Everett. Metcalf is good on a small number of routes. Those figure that take advantage of his size and limit the negativby cool_hand_luke - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 You know I love ya, 666. Look, we can both massage stats until the cows come home but this will still be true. While Hendo seems to have a ton of potential, the fact remains that (for whatever reasons) he underwhelmed in ‘19. I don’t think that’s debatable.
