two things I concluded this year from going to two games.... 1. I hate Minnesota fans. "Skol" 2. The only thing I hate more than Minnesota fans are Eagles fans. "Fly Eagles Fly" ugggh. I don't care who we play, just win baby.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
it's amazing how healthy you start feeling when the backup is out there showing you up.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
could have fooled me. seems like our opposing QB's have all day. maybe a few games where we got good pressure, but i would have guessed we were in the bottom half of the league on this.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we need to be careful not to over use the run. McVay keeps hearing he needs to Run the ball more and has been, but by the same line of thought of dance with the one who brought you.... we got here with our passing game setting up the run. have to be careful not to have a few 3 and outs trying to establish the run, meanwhile the Bears, etc. are establishing a 14 point lead. I hoby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
the week link is middle linebacker. if we had a true inside linebacker and could play Littleton outside, I have a feeling our D'line, safeties and CB's would look a lot better all of a sudden. out offense is fine, could use some tooling. let's cross that bridge when we get to it. for now, we have the Bears (or cowboys) to worry about.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
My guess is same as Brown. to spell Gurley. But would be a mistake. CJ plays with a lower center of gravity and makes people miss. Gurley doesn't really have those cuts. Gurley succeeds when there are holes and he bursts through them with power. he also catches the ball well in our passing offense. I too would like to see them both in the game at the same time, but get the feeling McVaby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
we'll pay Goff. he deserves the franchise QB money. luckily the salary cap is going up at a good time for us. I'm in the eye test group. Goff has really impressed me this year, but the 3 game skid was a set back. a little concerned. But he's top 10 and will get his money.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I know we have 2 weeks to discuss all kinds of stuff... But I think we need to see what happens in the playoffs, and ultimately next year before we even have to consider this. plus, the Rams are in "win now" mode spending all their picks and money on guys that can impact now and to sell seats in the new stadium. wish we were in a spot to draft a QB late in the first round and gby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
How did the Rams-Packers fame make the list over the Rams-Vikings which I feel was the game of the year prior to the Rams-Chiefs score-fest.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
good point. ia AD's aggressiveness to get sacks partly to blame for our horrible inability to Stop the run? I believe it has more to do with our LB's and formation (seems like there is one guy back there at times), but still something to consider before we completely gush on AD.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
wonder how much it will cost us to keep Fowler? He's been serviceable.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
seems like Everett is coming into his own at the TE spot and Higby is more the traditional blocking TE who occasionally goes our for a pass and once in a while surprises with a nice atletic play. Still, surprised he has turnwd out to be so average given his college highlights show him plowing over people so often.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I too think Goff has lost it. his mojo.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
looks like 1 and done to me. Goff 12-23. that ain't gonna cut it.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
first off, I am now super confident in our chances of getting the #2 seed and a bye week as I read that the niners had the easiest schedule of the three 4-11 teams and therefore get the #2 pick in the draft. they would be foolish to win this game. The Cardinals have the #1 pick next year. Did they let us win?by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
they can sweep the West.... by thay I mean AFC and NFC west.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Tavon is quick, not fast. His legs are too small too be fast. He is never open on deep routes.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Shoot. When I saw this, I thought we were signing Jo-Lonn Dunbar, the LB. We seemed to play better D when he was on the field. (Think he got into some trouble with the law?)by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
...crickets? Ok, here's my case. He admits being on the sauce for 2016, and I think we really need a "plan B". If 8 games in we find Goff is not the guy, we don't just need Clemons, or Keenum, we need a potential Plan B. I guess it would come down to, name me a better plan B that is an up and comer, vs. a has been or career back-up? I would agree "Mannion" qualifiby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Honestly I feel bad for Charger fans. I was surprised to find that nobody in LA wants them here. As much as the Rams are terrible, for some reason, whether it be the history or the fact that they came first, or both... everybody is on board with the Rams and most are saying "they'll be good by the time the stadium is built". And at the same time they are like "why are the chby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree with keying in on the statement that the play calling get's guys open. It's called a scheme and we haven't had an offensive one in years. Sounds like this guy is a young Mike Martz, and hopefully with Wade Phillips he can mostly focus on the offensive production. Defnitely think that Fired Coaches support group could be the difference in him being ready at a young age. I would makeby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, a little bit of Gruden in there. If we were looking for an offensive coordinator, i would be 100% on board. We'll see. Rumors have it this may be our guy.... (Short dude, eh?)by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
To me, means they have no clue what they are doing. They have had nobody they have been watching and interested in should this come up. And clearly they weren't planning on cutting Fisher given that they signed him to a multi year deal at the beginning of the season. And I don't buy the part about "wouldn't have been fair to hang him out there without a contract and expect him to dby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I like the thought of Shanahan stating he would also bring in his dad at whatever capacity. Because the problem with OC's is they have never been a head coach. But if he brings in his dad to assist, would take away that concern. Plus, I think we need to focus on offense for the first time in 8 years. I think McDaniels has a bit of the Mike Martz issue... it's easy to come up with greaby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
They are only interviewing him out of professional courtesy. Possibly a spot for him to remain as ST coach to keep at least some continuity.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Of this embarrasment? This team doesn't belong in the NFL. This team is not going anywhere next year, or the year after that. Maybe in about 5-6 years, after Goff, Tavon, and Gurley are gone and there is a new nucleus.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
We have seen just a small sliver of potential from this kid, but mostly wabbly balls and ducking for cover. Would like to see him step up and make a few throws today to give us fans something more than just "well if he had the right tools around him and a better offensive line"... blah, blah, blah. Show me something kid.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
Tavin is a joke. Part of the entire joke that is the LA Rams offense. Please get a coach and GM that can restore pride and dignity to this organization that for some reason I follow every year.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Keyshawn or one of those guys brought up the suggestion that the Rams should have went with Mannion from day 1 this year. I believe he was the best QB in preseason. He may be the best QB on this team. I hope he gets the chance to play this week. At least so the next coach knows what all he's got.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
