definitely agree that you test the waters early in the game, because if you're able to pound the rock successfully, you should keep doing it. just be careful because running the ball on first and second down eads to a lot of 3rd downs and possible punts. also.. answering my question about Goff, I think I have to agree with him being injured, ribs (or something to that effect) because thereby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
he's a cancer. Dallas would not have scored if not for his personal foul keeping their drive alive. (and probably his blown coverage on the other TD too. then he has the nerve to be talking trash about Amari Cooper in the post game interview when he wasn't even a factor. I hope we can dump him after 2 more games.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I was torn. basically a "be careful what you wish for" scenario. But it is what it is now. I'd like to think we had an easier time with the 'boys than the saints did with the Eagles. we pretty much led the whole game and ran the ball alot. they made a game of it with 3 minutes to go, but we quickly squashed that. I feel like it wasn't too stressful. saints were down at half aby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
but are we possibly adapting out of necessity? with the loss of Kupp, are we finding it harder to impose our will through the air? (I know, he was absent during Chiefs game, but they had a pretty loose defense). again, feels like we're becoming more and more Fisherball-ish. (hate the constant fake jet sweeps only to run 1 per game). I guess I am concerned something is up with Goff. mby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
ok, I know many of you are happy we have this two headed monster running game now, but WTH? we got here by being a passing team that set up the run by passing.woth our guru coach we were aggressive and buried teams with our high scoring offense. I know that McVay wanted to get back to basics after the Bears and Eagles losses, which is smart. but now, it's like we have become Fisherball??by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't watch, but read he said Dallas had a 75% chance of upsetting the Rams. so he should be doing a lot of back peddling.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
14-0, lol. I've got my credit card ready.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
we'll see what happens after the season. I would love to believe Gurley is a team player, but Anderson is not just the back-up,like Brown was, he is taking snaps away from Gurley and is the better runner on short yardage situations, including the goal line. we'll see how long Gurley allows someone else to get his TD's. But in a ideal world, we sign CJ to a reasonable deal, since he is 28 hby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I noticed Peter's got caught gravitating towards Amari Coooper on that play. I assume that was him trying to be a hero (or selfishly wanting to show up Cooper), but who knows, maybe Wade Phillips asked him to somewhat keep and eye on Cooper.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
same ole sorry @ss chargers... sad, but they just can not beat their (and most AFC Teams') nemesis.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff said in response to Talib yelling into the mic: "they didn't take your F'ing soul" hahahaha. ba bye cowboys.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
time for Santa to retire. him and his buddy are the last remnants of the team that beat us 17 years ago.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
worried about jo jo. please no returns. kneel in the end zone. we just need solid possesions. let our offense do it's thing.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
A. I can't believe we are or even ever were that good. B. I'm not so worried about the cowgirls. get your popcorn, enjoy the show!by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
sounds good to me. Let's do this!!by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
One of the factors that I think we're all quietly worried about, as somewhat stated above, is the implications of winning or losing this game. for Dallas, they are free-rolling. they weren't even supposed to make the playoffs a month ago, but started clicking. if they lose in the second round of the playoffs, compared to 2 months ago when "Dak is average without zeke" and "Garreby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
the eye test tells me that with Kupp the offense looked like a juggernaut and without we look a lot more pedestrian. above average, yes. But it is water under the bridge, we need Goff and McVay to bring it this weekend regardless of what weapons are available.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
totally agreed. it was nice to pick who we would prefer to play, but that day is over and it has been decided. Rams will need to bring it to win and if they don't, they don't deserve the opportunity to play in the Championship game. looking forward to a great game!by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
it's a good point. we have been dominant at times this year, let's go handle business!by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
a big key to running the ball is 1st down. if you can get 6 or 7 yards on 1st down, then you can easily run the ball on 2nd and 3rd down to get the first down. the question is, how do you get 6 or 7 yards on first down? unless you are playing the cardinals, the answer is typically that you throw the ball. thereby using the pass to set up the run. then, once you have them off balance, youby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com

buddy at work (cowgirls fan) bought 3 tix for $270 right after the game... he thought he had them, but the order was cancelled, his money refunded. clearly the ticket holder decided to try to get more for them. hopefully not too many tickets left for cowgirls.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com

anyone concerned that without Kupp, we don't have a possession type receiver? Reynolds is really a replacement for Woods. he is a route runner, like Woods. But who do we throw to on 3rd and 4? I feel like Nick Williams might have been more of a fit. apparently we cut him?by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
ok, the link didn't work, but I found the highlights on YouTube. nothing about this game gives me confidence. we were down most of the game until the 3rd quarter. there were multiple lead changes. Dallas was on our heals the whole time. zeurline score 7 Field goals. - 7! cowboys caught up and we were only up by 5 and they had a chance to go win and got to midfield and didn't conby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
as much as we call McVay boy-wonder genius, like most coaches, he seems to just do what he does. which is run his fast tempo-ed offense in the 11 set. yes, we ran a 2 tight end set and ran the ball alot the last two games. that may come into play. and I'm sure we'll see a couple new wrinkles. going back to basics the last 2 weeks was good for the team, but I don't think it's his plan for thby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
agreed with Goff's lazy play action move. and a big reason the play action and jet sweep didn't work against the Bears and eagles was because we play action fake and fake the jet sweep a lot more than we actually run them. teams started ignoring all our smoke and mirrors. cut to the cards/9'ers games we became a runming team and ran a bunch of jet sweeps. however, I disagree with those whby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
totally agreed, have been saying this. basically that no matter which team comes to town, it's like 50/50 with a slight edge to the home teams.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
ok, I get that if people are calling for his death that's a little over the top... But I saw the video of a guy going ballistic that this guy can't make a kick, and he's missed like 10 kicks already this year which is the worst record as kicker. I have no problem with the fans reactions. it's funny to me. they have the worst kicker and were dreading their season coming down to a kick, andby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
good thing is that the Bears, Seahags and Cowgirls all have good Defenses, so we can pretty much plan for the Bears and if it's one one of the other two, I think the game plan is similar.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
