Surprised they actually announced it.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Seattle might have countered, but their top 5 defense still gave up 33+ points 2 times to the Rams.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams are still recovering their adrena line from teh CA fires and the like....they will be back. If they can't handle Philly, and is one and done again.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
That's funny. However, he did complete a few clutch passes. But Chris Long won that one witht he strip sackc with the Rams up 35-34 (with 3-4 min left or so)when ol D Williams replaced Hav.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Havenstein isn’t going to overpower a lot of people, but he’s as consistent and technically sound as any tackle in the league. The former second-rounder has only allowed three combined sacks and hits all season. Huh, Hav is one of THE STRONGEST tackles in the game. Saffold dropped off that much? Thanks for posting thisby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Recovering from the adrenaline rush of the seattle-kc weeks mixed in with forest fires....lot of wierd stuff emotionally....gotta think the fires didn't help the whole teamby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
He's an extend the play guy, and willing to take a hit guy, just like Elway....leads to injuries I heard. The NFL says no to guys like that. Russel Wilson runs and slides mostly....much safer.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Huh? Gotta watch the games :)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff did what we expected when the O line is playing bad. Better O line, better Goff. Yes, he missed a bunch of throws, but the O line destroyed us.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Does anyone use the word 'fix' anymore....or is that passe?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay doesn't have the wisdom to rest Whit in the 4th quarter, and call diff pass protections for GOff. We will be a quick out if our O line continues in the same form it has been the last game.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope for this, and thought about this before the Bears game, but don't believe it will happen...it will be like 2001 when Martz floated us softly into the playoffs--letting Kurt get hurt in the process. Martz wanted to build endurance...it was stupid what he did throwing in the 4th quarter when he was trying to convert 3rd downs via pass bec we couldn't run---teams blitzed and it was screwy andby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Cooks doubles Sammy in 13 games!!!!!!! Cut and paste to double up the pleasure!by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
GREAT.....I was thinking that 2 backups for the playoffs isn't enough; and, I was thinking about him the other day....what is wrong with him? Smart, big, decent movement skills.... Better than B Allen as a guard, right? Allen goes to center permanently (for 2019).by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Coy---I get it, and I won't be surprised if we lose...that said: I think the Rams O line is the key. IF they play well enough, we control game and win. Eagles have lost 3 starting DBs, and their subs haven't played that well. HOWEVa, the Eagles have a very good pass rush....if we can't stop that pass rush, it will be a very close game. The Bears dominated our O line Wentz is quite a gaby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
You don't read my posts...now I know :)by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
You stole this idea from me; I said the worst 15-1 team ever, lol....and people got mad at me...ahahah. Yes, worst 14-2 maybe.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I am concerned about reality, not the Rams. Along with what you said: this is the exact same team since week 1--just that a different opponent reveals different facets about our team. EXACTLY the same team --just w/o Kupp.. They would have the same result if they replayed the Bears game in those game conditions. The Bears had a pass rush that is causing aging guys like Sully and Whit problby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
14-2=0 for me, if they don't win a playoff game. The Rams are too much like the 2000 Rams....soft and fluffy and up the middle. Actually, softer. What Ram team, with 7+ wins, ever gave up 180+ yards rushing in 4-5 games in a season??? Goff is still great, and so is Gurley and the WRs, so is the O line (70% oof the timte), but that won't mean much if every team runs right up the gut allby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams are soft...it has been there all season. Wade hasn't done a thing to change it....unless he pulls a Tony DUngy (see COlts 2006 super bowl run!), then the Rams may not survive the DIV playoff vs Dallas or Seattle. IF they put up 30 against Seattle, good, but Seattle has put up 31 both games....Rams should beat Seattle, but it is very sad a 13-3 or 14-2 team looks so wimpy. Whit needs to sby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
It does seem like scoring came to a huge hault with Saints, Rams, Chiefs (a bit) and quite a few others like the COlts, too.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
THis is exactly what the Rams needed. That and some sand in the bucket up the gut on defense. Wade will die, I guess, before he tries Kiser or Hager. We have some 'experimental' games in SF and AZ where we can practice this, or give some guys some rest....I don't know---this is the worst run defense since, oh Linny or who?by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I wonder if he had a concussion in the KC game on that one sack when 3 guys converged.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
This guy, from another board, is wrong in general about our super bowl hopes, but right about a lot: Goff looks like year one tonight. He needs air tight pass protection or he becomes very average. I dont think you can blame Mcvey--nothing was working. Physical defenses will nearly always prevail over finesse offenses. OL was getting no push --props to gurley for making things happen even in theby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
All true.....we all knew all of those points before the game.....we just couldn't 'see' it until after the game. Yes, finally someone said we are soft besides Colin...Yes 2 ILBs and our SS isn't a SS--he is a FS.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, they would be the worst 15-1 super bowl champ ever....3rd I thinkby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
"still have a little of that dark cloud of pessimism" That was not 'this' franchise. McVay and Co are an upgrade from Knox, Robinson, Martz and even Vermeil! And,they ain't lookin' past the Bears. Yes, they can easily lose.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
That was a great game. And, that was the game that 'ended' Faulk's career as we know it (Donnie Edwards ? forced Falk's ankle). Marshall was never the same after that....Marshall wasn't big on rehab, so you could see that in 2003 he had lost something pretty bigby Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams last sound defeat was the Vikings---and that didn't even materialize until the 4th quarter. Unless A LOT of turnovers happen, I don't see this. I could see the Bears pulling it out. I do have to say: if rams win, the Rams would have to be history's worst 15-1 team. They aren't 15-1 quality....but, if they win in Chicago, Bear me wrong. The Rams can, and should win the Super Bowl..by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
I was saying I couldn't believe the Saints kept beating everyone with it...but the Saints have a) pinpoint passer b) great O line c) one WR with 90% catch rate d) 2 very good + RBs e) great screen game YOu need great corners to beat them...the Rams corners, especially Talib can hang with M Thomas.by Steve - RamsFootballFans.com
