Greg Gaines believes the Rams will have the best D-line in the NFL this year Cameron DaSilva The defensive line was a major strength of the Rams last season, particularly in the playoffs when A’Shawn Robinson turned into a dominant run stopper. Robinson, along with Aaron Donald and Greg Gaines, gave the Rams one of the best defensive fronts in football. And when you include edge rushby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I can hardly believe I’m typing this but there have been so many positives reported on Atwell that maybe he is legit. So I’m gonna pose a ‘what if’… IF he proves to be a weapon this year schemed by McVay then that’s the best of all possible worlds for the Rams in terms of timing (available from September on), threat to stress opposing D, and cap cost. If Atwell really proves himself beyoby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks for the kind words, Coy. Well, we’ll only see backups during preseason games, of course, but starters might play some during controlled scrimmages again this year. Here’s the highlights (and only the highlights) that I see in my crystal ball… Stafford will have an even better year, probably his best yet. Akers will have a very nice year, probably picking up where he left off inby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s AvengerRam… The Rams are, of course, contenders once again, as they are bringing back the bulk of the key contributors from last year and have added a couple of nice new pieces. So... what (other than staying healthy) could happen in 2022 that would turn the Rams from an upper-tier contender to a dominant juggernaut in 2022? 1. Cam Akers is truly back. Rams Rookie OLB Daniel Hardy 'Has Flashed' at Training Camp When the Los Angeles Rams traded for outside linebacker Von Miller last season, he provided a spark for the defense off the edge. Miller would become a key member of the Rams' defense, helping propel them to a victory in Super Bowl LVI. I do believe that this secondary could be both very good and very deep this year. Another example of the Ram synergy of good scouting, Snead selecting, and coaches developing. They make it look easy when it’s really not.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Merlin… There was a time when I thought Long might be an answer in the slot. But given the way things went last season I don't see anyone offering an answer there unless they were brought in this year. It's a wide open job IMO. If Hill gets it I'll be a bit disappointed but we'll definitely be better there vs last year. I want a guy in the slot who teams don't like challenging. Thisby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Merlin… Last year's secondary would have been run out of the playoffs if we hadn't added Von. We were weak in the slot whenever Ramsey wasn't lined up there. Forget where I saw the stats but we were in the bottom group in slot yards allowed. So the Rams drafting two slot corners and bringing Hill back were not coincidences. They know they need to be better this year in coverage. Theyby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

From WestCoastRam… Also, Troy Hill with another interception in camp. If this keeps up, it sure looks like Cleveland were lost years and he hasn't really lost his ability to contribute and contribute at a higher-than-average level.
