Why has everyone totally forgotten about Corum? He's not a burner, but he was a high draft pick just last year and is the heir apparent to KW. I see a lot of posts complaining about KW who has a lot of strengths relative to the listed weaknesses. He had been one of the Best backs since getting the starting role. RB? Kyren Williams is one of the top running backs in the NFL. Yes, he has fumbleitis which is concerning, but he is a strong runner, blocker and can catch passes. The Rams are looking to extend him, not replace him. Corum was the man at Michigan leading them to a championship. He was selected high in last year's draft. Depends who falls to us. Last draft Verse fell to us. He would be top 10 in any redraft. Very happy we didn't trade that pick away. So, we need to see how the draft goes for the first 25 picks. Many great prospects will be gone by then. But, and it happens every draft, an unexpected prospect drops to the end of the round and if it's somebody that fits McVay's system we probably stay and take thby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Good article. Totally agree. Our needs are pretty obvious. Need depth at several positions, DB, especially CB; TE #2 or #3, OT #3 and #4, QB? Depends on Bennett. I like him better than most, so I would wait on it. WR? We have probably best #1 and #2. Nice depth at #3 and #4. Need #5 and #6. RB? Have #,#2,#3. Well we signed Landman. Funny how the writer declares this deep need for this position, marries it with another writer's mock draft selection and then raves about this kid's attributes at UCLA. He also cites that Schlesinger is the 4th rated ILB in the draft. Kid might be our pick. He might be great. But,maybe we nab one of the top 3. Maybe we go TE. CB? WR? RB? Edge. So many problems with this "article." Poorly written. Poorly planned. Rams will add to the LB corps. We will draft an ILB and an edge to replace Hoecht. We could also bring Reeder back again. Landman is a solid vet and needed at the position. Another thing, the Rams D doesn't always line up in s traditional 3-4 set. It really is like a 5-2. If we have a top 5 QB, arguably the best #2 in the NFL and a third year 2-time National Champion as our #3 why draft a QB? What would a #4 QB add to the squad? Most teams don't carry 4 QBs, so You're effectively trying to upgrade your #3. Then, you either need to trade or cut Bennett. Doing so, wastes a former mid-round pick plus the 2 years of developing him. It wouldn't be the end of the worby SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

Interesting article. But, I think there's so much more that goes into becoming a draft target for the Rams. Sure need, BPA and position all count. They need to, but so does scheme fit, desire, intelligence. Rams go further in speed measurements. They don't just compare 40 times. They have game speed measurements in MPH. Nice list. Thanks for posting. Not sure about signing old guys with broken necks To play MLB. I hope we re-sign Spoon and draft a young CB. We probably need to draft 2 ILB's. One to start next to Speights. One to back them both up. Supposed to be a deep draft for TE so lets draft a couple of those too. These are all positions I can see us drafting, but the question is where in the draft do you pull the triggers? Good signing today. Re-inked Ronnie Rivers. So, with KW and Corum we 3 deep at RB. Many in the board are hoping for a speed back, and I would be happy if a good one was pucked, but that would be a luxury. I mostly agree with the list along with drafting a swing OT, but I dont see RB as a huge priority. Many on this board have been dreaming of a speed back and somehow see it as a priority, and although it would be nice to add one to the RB room, I don't see it as a "need." I don't get why anyone would dump on Havs. He is one of the most reliable guys at RT in the NFL. He has been dinged, but plays more than he misses. I also think Limmer did great for a late round rookie who was tossed into the fray. I am much more optimistic about our OL going forward. Could we draft a swing tackle to replace Noteboom? Sure. So what is the story with Corum? We drafted him pretty high and barely used him and then he got hurt. He was the main guy for a National championship not long ago. I don't believe he's a blazer but has nifty moves and some power kind of like KW. Rivers is a similar back. Sees like McVay likes a certain type of back. He knows? Then why didn't Tutu get more down field targets? I keep reading about the need for speed and the fastest guy in the field wasn't on the field. And when they did target him he either catches the ball or draws a deep PI which is just as good. Tired of hearing arguments about being more explosive when the biggest weapon sits on the sidelines. You mentioned Tutu. Fastest guy we got. Catches everything thrown his way. Yet, he's rarely used. He got into Sunday's game with 5 minutes left and caught a big pass in our TD. Didn't see him again for our last 2:00 drive. We drafted this cat in the 2nd round as a home run threat. We have a QB who can throw it deep, but where are the shots? The fix was in from the beginning. On our first drive Higbee made an obvious catch for a first down. They ruled it incomplete. McVay challenged and the reversed it. But, how do you call something a non-catch unless you see it hit the ground? It should always be a catch unless they see it really isn't.by SoCalRAMatic - RamsFootballFans.com

He looked like what he is, a decent starter who can make a lot of plays and put up good stats, but can't come up with the big key throw to win you the ballgame. Sure you like to have a guy like this on the sidelines if your starter goes down. But, I'm sure that this performance will attract a starting role from a bad team. I remember reading that AD isn't eligible to come out of retirement at this point to Push us over the top and win the SB. The deadline has passed. Our Starting D with the young line has improved all year and can disrupt as they are. Verse is an All Pro, Fiske looks like a very promising DT, Young and Turner are strong from the prior draft. Glad we have him as a back up but I was never impressed with him as a QB. I would roll with Stafford as long as he wants to play and I really like Bennett. The kid came up huge in back to back college championship games. Yes, he was burned out and needed to recharge. Yes, it was handled strangely by our Rams. That doesn't make him a bad QB.
