Well I know my bank account appreciated when Vegas had the Rams 100-1 in the spring of 99, when I had a buddy drop 100 bucks for me on the Rams to win it all. iF Mahomes goes down in week 10, are the Chefs still the best bet? No. QB injuries and overall health of teams determines a lot. What this tells me is that vegas thinks the Rams have the 14th best roster RIGHT NOW in the NFL. On my Rams vertically stacked board: 54. Alec Lindstrom - OC - BC - 6'-3" 294 lbs. - A real technician with OK strength and above average mobility, especially lateral. Needs to add good weight (strength). OC in a zone scheme. He was my 12th ranked Interior lineman, my 2nd ranked pure OC and my 122nd ranted player overall that season. I wasn't nearly into the draft like I am now, but I know I loved the Achuletta pick alot. They went D heavy early in 01 just like this year. D. Lewis, Archuletta and Pickett in the first round Then LBers Tommy Polley and Brian Allen in the 2nd and 3rd But after that, I wasn't impressed. Round 1 - Verse is always going to be the pick for me, until he proves otherwise. Only in hindsight would Verse not be the pick Round 2 - Fiske was the reason they moved up, and looking at the board, IMO it was the right move. Move up and take Fiske or move down and acquire more picks. To me, its still Fiske Round 3 - Corum then Kinchens. He needs a plan. Just bull rush and get lucky isn't really a plan. But if he can develop better hand usage and some pass rush moves like (push pull for him would be great) or a swim or a cross chop, he does seem like a smart kid and obviously a hard worker (lazy dudes don't become captains) he can develop into a nice piece of the post AD puzzle.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

He went in the 7th round. I know the Rams spoke to him at Mich. pro day. But I think they wanted an early down edge setter with the ability and size to drop down on the inside as well and that wasn't Kamara or Harrell TBH. He was almost in my top 220, if he was an inch taller and 10 lbs heavier, he makes my list. @ 6' even and 228 lbs, he was just too light to put in the top 6 rounds. So I had a 7th round pick on him. Verse better start day 1. Fiske will be in the rotation early and should start by the end of the year. Corum only starts if Kyren gets injured, but will be in the rotation Kinchens will not start week 1, but could be by the end of the season. Jackson is a rotational piece. 49ers: I thought they reached on Pearsall (whom I loved) and considering they are in a win now window, how does he help? They have Deebo, Aiyuk and Jennings. They needed OL and DB help. Green - CB - FSU was another reach IMO. Puni was a very good get in round 3 for their IOL. Mustafa was an OK choice at SAF, but why add another RB and then to add a 2nd WR is a real head scratcher. You nailed the Brennan Jackson pick. I struggle with those player types and always seem to have the guys in the wrong order. I went back after they drafted him, and I saw the same thing over and over. An edge setting, nonstop motor that never gives up on the play, but lacked a pass rush set. Again, just my opinion. I don't do grades. If I did grades after last year's draft, I would have been so far off base, I'd have lost all credibility. Thanks Kobie Turner and Steve Avila. So far 4 for 4, and I said in a post Friday night to go get Verse's teammate Fiske and they did, so I'm pretty happy. Kinchens was a top 1 or 2 SAF before testing, and I had him at the end of round 3, thrilled with this pick. Corum had better tape last year, but I had read or heard that he was injured or dinged up for most of the season this year. So he could be a real steal. Like that pick. He was a OG until last year, which I think I mentioned in my draft profile blurb. Maybe not. Anyhow, he has positional flex and I think can work in any scheme, but I like him in a OZS. Its weird that he has all that benchpress power, but his functional strength is lacking IMO. SEC lines beat him up this year a bit. Not really. War Eagle. Anyhow, THe other 2 just had bigger legs. And most had Little above Karty, but I loved that Karty improved every single year accuracy wise. His leg from 50 is good. But its not a monster leg. Super accurate though.
