but he got pushed around a bit by IDL some in the game or games I watched of his, if that was my comment. I tend to simplify things to keep my player evals short due to time constraints on my part. Its a bit lazy, but its all I can do.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Well I know my bank account appreciated when Vegas had the Rams 100-1 in the spring of 99, when I had a buddy drop 100 bucks for me on the Rams to win it all. iF Mahomes goes down in week 10, are the Chefs still the best bet? No. QB injuries and overall health of teams determines a lot. What this tells me is that vegas thinks the Rams have the 14th best roster RIGHT NOW in the NFL. On my Rams vertically stacked board: 54. Alec Lindstrom - OC - BC - 6'-3" 294 lbs. - A real technician with OK strength and above average mobility, especially lateral. Needs to add good weight (strength). OC in a zone scheme. He was my 12th ranked Interior lineman, my 2nd ranked pure OC and my 122nd ranted player overall that season. I liked his game a lot, loved his brotherby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
I wasn't nearly into the draft like I am now, but I know I loved the Achuletta pick alot. They went D heavy early in 01 just like this year. D. Lewis, Archuletta and Pickett in the first round Then LBers Tommy Polley and Brian Allen in the 2nd and 3rd But after that, I wasn't impressed. This draft seems to have hit on starters thru 3 rounds, and solid depth pcs all the way to the enby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that right? That was good for 48.5% of the defensive snaps. I cannot fathom him being on the field that much as a 4th LBer (counting 2 edge backers and Jones) If true, ILB was more of a need than anyone thought. Help me out on this one.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Round 1 - Verse is always going to be the pick for me, until he proves otherwise. Only in hindsight would Verse not be the pick Round 2 - Fiske was the reason they moved up, and looking at the board, IMO it was the right move. Move up and take Fiske or move down and acquire more picks. To me, its still Fiske Round 3 - Corum then Kinchens. I might swap out Corum with Payton Wilson at LBer myby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
He needs a plan. Just bull rush and get lucky isn't really a plan. But if he can develop better hand usage and some pass rush moves like (push pull for him would be great) or a swim or a cross chop, he does seem like a smart kid and obviously a hard worker (lazy dudes don't become captains) he can develop into a nice piece of the post AD puzzle.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
He went in the 7th round. I know the Rams spoke to him at Mich. pro day. But I think they wanted an early down edge setter with the ability and size to drop down on the inside as well and that wasn't Kamara or Harrell TBH. I'm just guessing, but that makes the most sense to me.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

He was almost in my top 220, if he was an inch taller and 10 lbs heavier, he makes my list. @ 6' even and 228 lbs, he was just too light to put in the top 6 rounds. So I had a 7th round pick on him. He's yet another high motor guy (beginning to see a pattern) His Oregon St film was better, he had a few INTs and pass breakups, he got dinged at LSU so, kind of a down year He has excellent rangby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Verse better start day 1. Fiske will be in the rotation early and should start by the end of the year. Corum only starts if Kyren gets injured, but will be in the rotation Kinchens will not start week 1, but could be by the end of the season. Jackson is a rotational piece. 49ers: I thought they reached on Pearsall (whom I loved) and considering they are in a win now window, how does he help? They have Deebo, Aiyuk and Jennings. They needed OL and DB help. Green - CB - FSU was another reach IMO. Puni was a very good get in round 3 for their IOL. Mustafa was an OK choice at SAF, but why add another RB and then to add a 2nd WR is a real head scratcher. early in college, he had drop issues. This year he was much better, but Edwards caught 39 passes to Corums 16ish? So Edwards was Michigan's pass catching back. I think Corum's improvement is promising, but the Rams are really lacking a pass catching back.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
You nailed the Brennan Jackson pick. I struggle with those player types and always seem to have the guys in the wrong order. I went back after they drafted him, and I saw the same thing over and over. An edge setting, nonstop motor that never gives up on the play, but lacked a pass rush set. Its a bull rush with some push/pull. He has a spin move, but its not great. So I assumed he would be aby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

Again, just my opinion. I don't do grades. If I did grades after last year's draft, I would have been so far off base, I'd have lost all credibility. Thanks Kobie Turner and Steve Avila. First some general thoughts including the trade to land Fiske. Some are thoughts on my boards and how I thought it shook out compared to reality. 1. Trade next years 2nd to move up for Fiske. So far 4 for 4, and I said in a post Friday night to go get Verse's teammate Fiske and they did, so I'm pretty happy. Kinchens was a top 1 or 2 SAF before testing, and I had him at the end of round 3, thrilled with this pick. Corum had better tape last year, but I had read or heard that he was injured or dinged up for most of the season this year. So he could be a real steal. Like that pick. My 2024 Big Board I'll keep the Rams pick in red, delete who is gone. 15. Jared Verse - EDGE - FSU - 6'-4" 254 lbs. - Twitched up, speed to power merchant that can really apply pressure to OL early in the rep. Solid setting an edge as well. 35. Braden Fiske - IDL - FSU - 6'-5" 292 lbs. - Good athlete that is a super smooth mover, big time motor and quick. 85. Kamren Kinby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
But IMO and I think YB53 agrees as well that Fiske is the better fit. They were close. 19th for Newton (1st overall DL), 35th for Fiske (4th overall DL) Fiske tested out insane, Newton had better tape, both are disruptive, big motor, high character guys.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
He was a OG until last year, which I think I mentioned in my draft profile blurb. Maybe not. Anyhow, he has positional flex and I think can work in any scheme, but I like him in a OZS. Its weird that he has all that benchpress power, but his functional strength is lacking IMO. SEC lines beat him up this year a bit. He just needs to add some good weight and grow into that frame IMO.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Not really. War Eagle. Anyhow, THe other 2 just had bigger legs. And most had Little above Karty, but I loved that Karty improved every single year accuracy wise. His leg from 50 is good. But its not a monster leg. Super accurate though.
