IMO, for the reasons you mentioned above, I am not a huge fan of PFF for their blocking grades and in general because even with guidelines, its subjective and you have multiples grading. However, if you use it as a tool in your toolbox, along with the other tools in your toolbox, it can be very useful. Is Kyren the best blocking back in the NFL? No. Is he better than average. I just don't see it, but if you've seen my history, I miss alot lol. And I love having civilized conversations about anything, especially the draft and the prospects. Quibble away.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
so let me get back to you but I'd say, Warren and Loveland, Johnson, Barron and Hunter, Graham, Carter, TMac, Egbuka and Golden, Campbell, Jeanty and Walkerby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe if a guy like Jalen Milroe is available in the 4th round, take a swing at his upside. Regardless of his arm talent. But, beyond that no. Not this year. I think every year is different. 1. Rams don't have picks in rounds 2,5 and 7. Rams have done a nice job of plugging holes, but holes still need plugging and depth needs help at some spots as well. 2. The Rams are in a SB window thaby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
My 2025 Big Board A few notes before I get to the list: 1. I have seen every player. Some guys I have only seen in the Senior Bowl. Others I have seen a ton. So my grading is not perfect. I tried to note the guys I saw a small sampling of. 2. This is a board built from a scoring system and not where I think they will land in the draft. That is a predictive board. 3. Alyo can find and add this stuff to his meeting tracker if he so chooses: Official visits limited to 30 guys (I call them the Official 30 visits) Shemar Turner Isaiah Bond (they also met with him at the combine if I remember correctly) Pro days/private woorkouts: Jackson Slater met with Rams extensively at his pro day Tyler Warren will work out for the Rams (1 of 6 teams he is doing thaby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_78 First, credit to Deadpool for influencing me on the RAMS late-round picks. Thanks!! :thumb :thumb (picks 152, 182, 195, 201) I look at the top 100-125 players, and that's about it. Incredible what you and Alyo do during draft season But, the downside, you own the picks :peace Ok, on to the mock draft, a couple of thoughts Wow!! Talk about a rising star. A reminder, not every draft class is comparable to the other ones simply due to too many variables, including depth of blue chips, overall strength of draft, depth of each position group. So 2018: Tremaine Edwards - 7th overall. He graded out higher than Campbell Roquan Smith - 10th - also graded out higher Leighton Vander Esch - 21st. He did not due to med red flags 2019: Devin White -by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci This is likely later, but I'll mention early guys too ... If we go this route it'll be to back up and develop behind DA, unlikely to make an impact otherwise. And personally 3rd round would be the earliest I'd think about it and only if someone is really sliding. Even then ... ? There are guys late I like in this section that could develop in a couple years. So this assby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd prefer to get a guy in so they can get as much time learning as possible under McVay and Stafford. That also means not having to throw the QB into the fire with no seasoning. Thats a very under rated aspect of getting a QB now, like 43 said. On top of that, here are some other points: 1. You will NOT get a bluechipper at 26. Won't, Can't. You will get a very nice 2nd round type prospectby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
keep up the excellent work. BTW Bond and Verse would get along great, because Verse likes his QBs shaken, not stirred.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com

unless a guy the Rams didn't expect seeing drop, dropped. Like Loveland or Warren or a WR like Golden. DB Barron feels like a great fit for LA as well. Beyond that, I'd take 40 and 70 and go get Mason Taylor/Tre Harris/Arroyo @ 40 and then go CB/WR or TE/LB with my next 3 picks.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAvengerRam Here is my updated Rams Draft Board. NOTE: Since this is a Rams Draft Board, I have (1) considered the Rams' needs and players I believe would fit, and (2) have not included any player that is a consensus first round prospect who I would not take at No. 26. I have also included by TRADE LINE. If any player above the TRADE LINE is on the board at No. 26, I just make theby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci Glad you stayed at 26 because I didn't have the capacity to do that lol. Gives a more fair representation to the draft board but, it also makes it obvious that staying there is really not a likely option. So ... Fannin. I think we've had a number of conversations about him. But those were mostly before he seems to have fumbled the postseason. The postseason guy is not whoby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
PFF had Colston at 25 on their big board, so a slight value Noel is at 86, so again, value Grant is listed at 97, so value. You got good value that is still realistic according to their board. Nice workby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Chris Simms ranks 2025 QB class, and what it could mean for Rams Kyle McCord could be a strong stylistic fit as Matthew Stafford’s understudy JB Scott I’ve learned to pay attention to former NFL QB Chris Simms’ draft rankings in recent years. QuoteAvengerRam The Rams will have some internal UFAs in 2026 who, right now, are slated to have a major role. Will the Rams think about drafting their eventual replacements? Kyren Williams - the Rams might extend him, but if they don't, this would be a great draft to stash some depth at the position. I just am not a fan of Burden. Gadsden is TE in name only, he is a jumbo slot, so that works for the Rams.by Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
I have no notes on him I can find from the draft. He tore his achilles in 2020, then had a rough statistical 2021 before injuring his shoulder. He ran a poor 4.86 and didn't test well at the combine from what I have read. He was a team captain, a green dot guy, but he lacks range and is limited by his athletic profile not matter what his instincts are. Quotemerlin QuoteDeadpool I decided 8 years ago I was going to change the way I operated as far as my half assed scouting. I would still do 3 mocks, but it would be post senior bowl, post combine, and pre-draft. The senior bowl answers some questions, like can a D2 player compete with the big guys. QuoteAvengerRam I agree with the comment regarding the likelihood of a trade down (which makes mocks very difficult!). Right? It just makes too much sense, I do 3 mocks, the last will be before the draft a few days or so, and I will probably do a trade down. I'm just so bad on those. I might ape your trade down scenario post for one I like if you don't mind. I like Hairston a lot, but wonder iby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
I at the least, he will be a ST captain and live a long NFL life doing it. He's a workaholic, team leader, high IQ guy. Those guys seem to find a way to stick around. That said, he probably goes in round 3 and I blew the eval. lolby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_78 "First, let me say that there is almost zero chance that the Rams stay at 26." You're right on the money here. With Burden not being high on your list, I don't see anyone (within reason) who justifies the RAMS picking at #26... but that's just me I really like the Horton pick; Felton is not far behind in my book Glad to see TE was a priority. Is TE Arroyo an option aby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGlacieRam It's easy to SAY trade down. But you have to find a trade partner who really wants to trade up in order to facilitate a trade down. What players would be available and what TEAMS would be so enamored with said player(s) that they would want to trade up for them? I keep seeing people saying no one worth picking at 26 will be there when we pick, so trade down. If this is the caseby Deadpool - RamsFootballFans.com
John McKay didn't leave, he was promoted. Morton has been with the Rams for 12 years and in the NFL for 24. He is Senior Personnel Executive & Deputy Chief of College Scouting Staff. Its all clickbait garbage, I literally read none of it because every time you click, some asshat gets paid. Avenger, Alyo, Albany myself all do this for free.
