I still want to know who the genius was that believed it would be a good idea for previous season's Super Bowl teams to hold a joint practice together the very next season smh?by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Yet despite all their cheating and shenanigans, they still needed some lucky "breaks" to get to that first Super Bowl, starting with the Tuck Rule... But the fact remains, organizations cheat in a wide variety of sports. A few that come to mind immediately... Final was 10-3 at The Vet (final season). Game wasn't as close as score indicates as Philly ran out to a 10-0 lead in the 2nd quarter and never looked back. Faulk and Gordon could do nothing running the ball and Kurt threw two picks (one a Pick-6 for only TD of the game) and completed less than 50% of his passes. We fumbled 5 TIMES in the game (losing 3). Kurt fumbled 3 times alone. Holt handby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. The drop off to his back up is greater than most other positions on this squad.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Honorable mention goes to.... Ferragamo to Waddy Zuerlein's kick in to send us to the SB Warner to Bruce (although I remember at the time thinking we scored TOO quickly and our exhausted D would have to immediately go back on the field for one last stand) AD sack of Jimmy G to seal game and send us to SB Proehl catch in corner of endzone to send us to the SBby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
They desperately need a QB in a QB rich draft. They cannot afford to move down that many spots and miss "their" guy. Would take a lot more than what is proposed here for them to consider it.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills finally they are investing in this position I have no problem with them bringing him in to the 3rd qb NONE I think under McVay, he might eventually supplant Jimmy G as the #2. Wilson has a powerful arm and can make every throw in the book. Despite his small stature, there might not be 5 or 6 guys with a stronger throwing arm in the league. He also has good mobility.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotesince68 Nobody on this board was thinking our FA $ would go to a guard and a TE ? I was thinking Van Ginkel and maybe CB Fuller . . . . . . but I trust the Rams coaches and front office Most of our cap space went to the OL when there are a few other holes to fill, but clearly Les and Sean have a plan. Let's not question it! One thing is abundantly clear....they want a fortress-lby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Mekhi Becton has been a total disaster at LT for them (injuries galore). What Rodgers wants in NY, Rodgers gets. Coming off an Achilles, it's safe to say he would want to reunite with the man who protected his blind side for years.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteroman18 out there that can look at Notebooms' body of work and think he can be a for sure starter for seasons at a time. Every team has to know he's injury prone. I don't see how a team could think he could alter his body to end these injuries. All teams can also see that for stand in work he can play all across the line. So if he wants to stay with the RAMS he MUST drop his contract and maby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBerendsenRam GO RAMS! Probably my favorite non Super Bowl season (although '78 and this past year are up there too!) I know someone who was at the Divisional vs the Giants. A huge Giants fan, he said when Flipper caught the walk off TD, it was so quiet walking out of the stadium that if someone dropped a paper clip, it would have sounded like a bomb going off lol!by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

I know it's a players job to PLAY and let the front office do their thing, but considering Stafford's age, injury history and his overall well-being, do you think he has the clout to get in Les' and Shawn's ear regarding keeping the OL intact? And would his opinion even matter?by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jordan is pretty much universally accepted as the greatest basketball player of all time. While one could make the argument that Woods is the greatest golfer, it is NOT a slam-dunk as there is a man by the name of Jack Nicklaus that could very well be considered better. Same with Mahomes...One could make an argument that he's the greatest ever, but much like Woods, it is not a slam dunk as Monby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam Actually any of the 1970's Rams. No QB, no ring. Unless you're the 2000 Ravens. Or 2002 Buccaneers... Both of those teams had all-time great defenses though.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Pure magic this man was (highlights start a 5:25 mark). Only back in history with moves equal to (or superior) was Barry Sanders. The crazy thing is Sayers is making these moves AFTER the devastating knee injury he suffered vs. the 49ers in 1968.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
First Super Bowl that I understood it was the "Big Game." Interesting personal fact. Even though the number of the game is always one above my actual age (I'm 57, but this Super Bowl is 58), I was actually alive for Super Bowl I lol (born July 1966 and Super Bowl I was held in January 1967). On the surface, one would think if the number of the game out-paces me by a "year,"by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemtramfan As mentioned... injury history and slow 40 time. Can't stay on the field, can't run. That was the rap against him. The nature of the injuries got brushed aside as did Nakua's game speed on tape. I think Puka has exceeded even the Rams' expectations. Puka and Brock Purdy tend to verify my thesis: The draft is basically a crapshoot. (Well, maybe not quite, but you get theby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Only because we grew up in the same town and his sister, Melissa, and I were HS classmates lol. Interesting fact about Steve....Although he throws a football left-handed, he actually shoots a basketball right-handed. He had a DEADLY jump shot from about 15 feet. In addition to football, he was co-captain of the basketball and baseball teams (also pitched a no-hitter). Just a sick athlete.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Do you think the Rams will deploy a 5 to 10 play package for him each game? Similar to what the Saints do with Taysom Hiil? My guess is he would be looking for a starting opportunity somewhere, but if the Rams can get him on the field each game, maybe that will be attractive enough for him to stay.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
That's awesome. There is footage of the game on YouTube. I can understand why you couldn't see any colors....based on the footage, it looked eerily similar to the Rams-Vikings mud bowl in the 70s!by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield when I would go to the Coliseum to see the Rams. If I recall the crowds seem to be mostly males in their 50s and 60s. Most wore hats and many were in suits. I never saw anything close to a fight in the stands. I'm sure they sold alcohol (beer) in the stands but can't be sure. So what happened ? My theory-the Rams and Van Brocklin. They made football really fun to watch witby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Also, we don't win in '21 if they don't agree to the Stafford trade. If Lions get knocked out, I'll probably roll with the Ravens. Love how they play the game.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDESERT RAM We have one of the best head coaches period. Tired of all whinning and finger pointing. There is no one out there that I would prefer or would swap McVay too..
