I wonder if the stats have changed at all about deferring. I would think that nerves of players before a game may be a factor for the offense... and it's easier to play defense(without having to handle a ball). It allows the offense to stand and get in the flow of the game while the defense just plays fast. Then, the offense can come out onto the field after a series of just watching the gameby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Also, it'd be great if McVay really went hard after the best minority coaches in college or NFL ranks...and hire them. We need to take advantage of the new rule(TWO -3rd rounders for every hire) for minority hiring. And, of course, I'm not saying to hire guys that are not good enough - but if two guys are even let's lean towards the minority hire to help build the team. We need to build that inby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Stafford's game is aggressive...and I don't mind the INTs as long as he comes back gunning to get the win. We will lose some games.... and Stafford will be the reason...but we will have won more games than we have lost this season. imo I'll take it. ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
It's America...it's almost our duty to respectfully disagree with each other. ;) love this board and all it's mad-hatter posters!! It's an asylum I'm proud to be a patient of.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
you nailed it!!! That's what I love about the game - that fine line that needs to be walked in order to win. That dance is beautiful and nerve-racking all at the same time. What a rush to watch..... and to be alive!!! ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and think he's the most talented passer the Rams have had....EVER. BUT... ....he's not -consistently - throwing well the last 8 weeks. imo ..and the incomplete passes to OBJ were Stafford's fault...not OBJ. Stafford has been off for a few months..I dunno why...looks like injury to finger is affecting his grip or something. Stafford rarely underthrows deep balls and he's been doing it offby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
thus, the Since 1976 on my sig. I was 11 yrs old. very cool!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
WR, CB and obvious best ever DT(ever imo) in the game at only 20m/each???!!! LOL We've had some bad contracts in the past - and let's hope they stay there....but the deals for AD and Ramsey, Woods & Kupp are amazing bargains... cuz these guys bring the same passion EVERY week and sooo consistent it's a freakin sin!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Kupp really shows what great route running is able to do. Kupp's routes are fantastic and always predictable which, for a QB....is = TRUST!!!! btw...Kupp's hands are some of the best I've ever seen.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
so that's 18-20mil or so in space to help. iircby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
We have some good young EDGE guys that can contribute and have good upside in Hollins, Lewis, etc and some others I'm forgetting. lolby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
but in Hollins case...I'm wondering if his injury might be a blessing in allowing us to resign him at a far cheaper rate than he would get if he played ballzout this year. Heck, now that I think of it, I wonder of DWilliams gets a cheaper contract due to his injury & then lack of plays in this defense. Last year, DWill was a complete STUD.....now he's just ordinary it seems. I'd love to reby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
why ALL Rams press conferences have no mics for the reporters so that fans can... HEAR THE FREAKING QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wth???by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
OBJ the better athlete. Hopefully, OBJ can adjust and play within the system and turn out to be another great FA signing like Woods was in 2017. Isn't OBJ slightly younger than Woods by a few years? Either way, glad we signed OBJ as we lost Woods to an ACL.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
IT...is the way of football. ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Nobody's perfect, fellas. Take the great with the bad. I think McVay is a better, more complete HC version of MikeMartz.... and is MUCH better with his personnel... sans Goff.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
that I have not seen in years. Our OL were children compared to the grown men of the Titan DL. Seeing Edwards get put on roller-skates and driven back into Stafford was...astonishing. The Titans had great cover schemes against McVay/Stafford and our game plan....but the reason it worked so well was because they had 7 guys in pass coverage and were getting home with only 3-4 DL on the pass ruby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Raiduhs have drafted horribly since hiring Mayock/Gruden...and now, Gruden is gone for being a HC from the 1950's. I'm pretty stunned at just how poorly Mayock has drafted. I mean, even a stopped clock is right 2x day...but not for Mayock's Raiders... they don't even have random luck with all those high picks. Raiders are in absolute limbo. Simply amazing.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

and...IMO...is the Rams most talented all around WR. imo ...or maybe equal to Kupp in different ways. Yeah, that sounds better. Yes, Kupp is having a truly special season...but I think Woods could do the same with the amount of targets Kupp gets. I love both Kupp & Woods....BOTH. I just want Woods to get more targets so that they don't just focus on Kupp. Stafford needs to get Woodsby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Soooo, I think it's "next man up" time. Which is okay, cuz I really like what Gaines has been doin. AShawn will get more of a chance to earn his money...and MHoecht hustles and plays ballzout when he gets time also. I wish we still had JonahWilliams still cuz he was pretty fun to watch in rotation along with Hoecht. BBrown was interesting when he played...so I hope he gets a chby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I appreciate the kind words, AlbaNY. ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and one I wanted VERY badly on draft day. I don't care if TuTu becomes an absolute stud at WR.....I wanted a ILB or OC at that pick. The very fact that the Rams signed DJax after drafting Atwell made me very dubious about the TuTu pick and I think they realized he wasn't near the guy they thought. Those 2-3 speed WRs that went consecutively just before our picks made me feel TuTu was a knee-jby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
(On his assessment of being on a team that is aggressive in trades like the Rams are) “The biggest thing is just they've got a plan. It's not just throwing paint on the wall and hoping it works out for them. They've got a plan. They know what they want in players and culture and all that kind of stuff. And sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't, just like everybody. That's draft picks. Eveby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Harris will be a WR. Skowronek will be a larger version of Kupp...and be a very good inline blocker at times besides being a strong possession WR. Stafford & QBs in general tend to LOVE these big targets. I think Stafford really learned to appreciate them from the Megatron days in Detroit.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

McVay is a good judge of position coaches...but maybe not ST coaches. He's learning... and will hire & fire his way to getting one that is good.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
