QuoteRFIP QuoteFlipper336 A lot can change in a year but Rosen has the top QB spot for me by a pretty good margin after doing some preseason QB previews. I admit to not knowing much about Rosen but I respect your opinion...for me I have not seen a Comp to Darnold. He's a generational talent in my book. He reeks of greatness in my opinion. Rosen and Darnold are different animals at the QB poby Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteleafnose One of a couple of QBs I'm excited to see this fall. Rosen has to keep his health; But your statement sure does make for that much more intrigue. If Rosen WRs had held on to balls that were in their hands, and I do mean dead in their hands, the Bruins would have won their opener. Not sure that the talent around him shows off his toolset. Think they wanted him to be a more explosive Amendola. Saw pretty quickly that wasn't wasn't his game but saw that his speed was ELITE even at the NFL level. The Rams wanted to keep trying to make him fit their original projection of him instead of making him a terror deed and clearing space for OTHERS to work underneath.by Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
First guy I wanted to watch at QB for next years draft and he didn't disappoint - Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State Ideal height and weight and uses it to his advantage. See over lineman clearly and overhand motion really limits batted ball opportunities. Bulk helps him break tackles, throw while being hit, and create movement on sneaks. Accuracy and touch to all levels. Arm to make every throwby Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamBill Tonight was the debut of All or Nothing: A Season with the Arizona Cardinals on the NFL Network. Highly recommended, BTW. In the first 10 minutes they showed the Cards Draft Room during the 2015 draft. They are on the phone with Ameer Abdullah in the 2nd round telling him they are about to pick him....he gets a call from Detroit....and they pick him. Cards are devastated. QuoteThe_Bad_Guy ... his general philosophy of offensive line play and how it matches - or doesn't match - Robinson and his skill sets? I will say that he's got experience with some pretty good lines over the years and Robinson has enough NFL experience that scheme isn't a factor anymore. He will either quiet Robinson's mind and get him to just play...or Robinson will be gone.by Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM As you all know I'm not one. Used to be... but that was long ago. Now I know this will come of as 'board egotistical' but IMHO not only do 'our' guys do well, (as many have said recently), but from my standpoint they are every bit as good as the famous pundits. If they get him fully squared away he will do it at RT and they can pay him accordingly for that position. The 5th year option would pay him as a top LT. If they don't like what they see they are free and clear.by Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGreatRamNTheSky Bills decline 5th year on Sammy Watkins This is the guy I wanted the Rams to draft instead of GRob. He looked like the best WR in College that year and a sure fire number 1 WR. QuoteJamesJM yeah, I was not comparing his running to Wentz. Only his setup, his feet, his athleticism in delivering the ball. It's different, somewhat... but he shows that same nearly religious consistency... QuoteJamesJM To put it succinctly... he impressed me most of all. And I'm only half way through the video. He looks to me more in the "Wentz" vein than Goff or Darnold. Solid, quick with his feet but sure footed... sets well before delivering. I never saw the Reed/Engram comparison outside of height/weight. Everett has some of the Reed physical nastiness to his game as a receiver. Better in contested situations and more like to get yards after contact compared to Engram.by Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
I checked everything out in the mornings before it opened and the crowds came in and was very...meh...with it. They shut that area of the city down for a long time and everything looked thrown up and junky. As a long time draft geek I actually hate the huge crowds the "outside experience" drew.
