Yeah Kiser was ok. First in solo tackles or tied for solos with Ramsey. He's going to be around the ball. It didn't show up on stat sheet so much but I thought Joseph Day held his own pretty well also. As far as Polite and Floyd wierd there seems to be too much credit given their flashes were against the same OT who was having a problem. He might have been the backup in camp. Then the Cowbby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Hopkins had a predictable steller game. Garrapolo and his gang not so much. Moster still got off though all purpose production was very good in stat sheet. So Arizona did us and the rest of the NFC a favor with that win... .... Seattle is hot Aleady. Win vs Atl was stat...tacular For Russel running and passing. ..... So.,.. Our D vs... Russel Wilson , & DK Metcalf ,by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Eight sacks. Yesterday against him and a poor Eagles running game. We may be a 1 pt fav in next game or a 2 pt dog.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
We are going to be up against some tough sledding in our division. Twice with Seattle and Arizona and once against SF in the last 8 wks. That's were we live or die . It's going to amount to what we to in latter part of year vs our Div Rivals. By same token any wins we notch non div first half give us a bit of buffer . The Philly and Giants games being NFC formula tie breakers are 2nd tieby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Need more data lol. Missed tackles .. Let try try another measure. What about yards after contact ?. In sandlot football or any level of the sport a guy can deke out 7 guys for negative yardage. Wouldn't amount to more than football follies reel in that instance. Oops ... guess that yards after contact stat was covered. lolby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess that Horizontal use of the field is our answer to those stacked 6-1 fronts. Isn't that what Josh McDaniels was preaching for us wayyy back?.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
The way the game started yesterday was pretty amazing. They tottaly had Dallas out executed and looked like they had the game plan for a rout. Was it Dallas injuries at MLB and OT that added to it ?. I think you'd have to acknowledge that but the Rams seem to have done some great things at camp and have a significant amount of talent to compete against better than average teams like Dallas.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com

I m sure they had a real high level of energy post game. That was a memorable accomplishment. Now can Whitworth do it one more year ??? That'd be great !!! I'm very happy for team. And all of us. Thumbs up guys.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah I think Noteboom struggled a bit pass blocking and run blocking. Havs and Corbett did ok. Aldon Smith is challenge. Brown is able to wriggle and cut back for positive yards. He's a bonified NFL RB who has respect around the league. Remember he's had offers. He was a great FA signing by Snead.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Obo and Ekubon where up against Tyron Smith ## He's an Eraser. The non Ram news Cowboy / NFL playoff news is Aldon Smith is back and the Cowboys Offencive line is Truly hurting injury wise That could effect Rams chances for a playoff. If Philly and Dallas are the best in the east and they both end up around 9-7 ... We have good chance to get at at least that #7 spot . Likely twoby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
He meant Rapp was injured a couple weeks of training camp. I think both Burgess and Fuller have escalated over Rapp at this time. Fullers game is very Veteran like. That's tough play saying in overage behind all that trash .the Read was top notch to begin with. He's supposedly not stopwatch fast but he's got some great quality's . He also plain bigger than Rapp. Him leading the team in tackby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone know what to expect from Ashon ( our NT ) this year ?. Hope he gets back soon. WK 6 gotta be an important marker. Looking at the list I'd put Rapp lower. I'd also add Troy Hill and Noteboom , and the likely Nickel corner Williams. Not saying in strict 25. They are a worth mention as are Obo and Burgess. Our DBs as a group definitely factor heavily to our success.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
That was great in so many ways . McVay and Goff have what it takes to find answers to any doldrums or momentary fails. They are capable of top notch production in their respective crafts. They just gotta have contingency plans. Get more running production and protect Goff so the passing game clicks. The close losses become wins. 9-7 becomes 11-5 and thus the playoffs happen.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey Bud are you Happy "Senor ` Toothpick " made the practice squad ?. He's from that Fresno like area you know ;).by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Great Bank shot... Bank on that .. But Tony had at least one or two memorable games. No one ever mentions he was the guy that tossed 115 to Ike right ?. He helped get Ike some cred that way. Wasn't a total fail. Just an average QB with some above average gifts. And a good dog. Lol.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he will. Exposure to vets tricks of trades will help his game. I was leaving another tidbit out. He played Hoops as a prep under a X NBA Superstar having the 2nd or 3rd most popular shoe of all time. That would be Mr Penny Hardaway back in Tennessee. ( Memphis area I believe ). He was recruited under the designation Athlete. That designation is pretty rare for a guy that siby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey there Alyo Hope you are well ,:) What's up with recent fumbling by Henderson and Akers. One thing you say about Gurley. He almost never fumbled. Brown is in that same secure mold. But is McVay a secure close to vest thinker..... ???. I don't think so . Especially not in regular season. He is going to put pressure on him self and team to be better . Even if it's being random and hellisby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we have a few other pass rush threats besides A.D. The problem /perception from national perspective might be worse than reality ... And we probably have to agree locally at least that the other talents are not established. Ayyyyyy.... That's a year to year thing. People have to rise up and achieve every year. Lat year is last year. Old and new. Have to make it happenby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Going with hot sounds ok and really not much a change philosophically. Related to any playing time distribution might be specific differences in RB use in passing game. If the Rams are playing from behind Akers or Henderson might be thrown mix mix more because they are bigger receiving threats . Jones may be in same as well as the new RB pickup. He's so darn new a team on the schedule inby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
He has that Jadeveon Clownery or the old Titan Freak Kearse body type. That isn't the body you want taking on punishment inside in my opinion. But aye if he can ghost thru blocks like a Ninja Pac man maybe it will work playing him inside. I'd play him in on the edge and in a soft middle area zone on passing downs. He might be able to come up or chase and rope a doggie before he turns theby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Tried to check him out on tape but there is more UTSA game tape when the Saints Davenport played opposite him a couple years ago. He is another young Ram who played QB as a prep. That adds up to least 3 of our rookies which is kinda interesting. He has good size for a 4-3 end at about 6-5,280. Saw him drop back in short zones coverage and run downfield aiding with block on a pick that sby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Greg Gaines will get some time in there and A.D. will see some looks at DE in a 4 man line during stretches vs Dallas. Floyd and OBo could also be stacking hard against the run early essentially making a Hard 5 man front. I don't think it wise to play too many dime looks early. Even if we have that young talent in secondary we don't wanna ask Dallas to gash us on ground by playing wiby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
One of ways a borderline player could make a team is being a guy the coaches and other players enjoy in the locker room. I think his energy was upbeat and it was pretty cute to watch. Small guy flexing amongst the Giants. What's not to like about that ?. Better than too nitwits flipping a golf cart right ? Lol. And I don't think it was fake at all. LaMarcus Joyner supposedly almost retirinby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
He is very much the athlete and a hard worker. He might get fooled or come too hard and miss a tackle but think he is the guy that should really take off this year. It would make a tremendous difference if he got above double digits in sacks. Im also counting Burgess and Rapp as 1/3 LB 's. Those guys will also be active as blitzers as well as pass defenders in short zones. I think the safby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Jackson is the guy that might surprise. Hes got kinda a basketball skinnny build and has big play ability . Saw alot of time as a freshman at Mich St before his transfer.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
There might . Be something of a scab replacement type fallback plan being set up by owners and GMs. Betcha there's a emergency list being compiled. Somebody like Nelson Spruce could get a desperate call.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Hi guys I remember Stubbblei as a real fireplug defender on the field. He had a bit part In the Ben Afflec caper movie ' Riendeer games '. He played a thug paid to start a fight in the prison cafeteria. Too bad apparently had some real criminal behavior. In him. Oh well .by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Johnson was the one that came to mind if he's the DB that started for about one year with us and had that 4.19 tattoo on his leg. He was fast but it's hard to say it was more than his hype and poor stopwatch operation that created that rumored time. I remember him taking one to the house for us but that proves nothing.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Sorry . At least we own them now. And we ran them in that 99 game as well. I really hated and admired Tark and Foreman in some way. Tottaly hated all thier D . That Paul Krause was another pain. Ron Yary I can't tottaly hate because of those So Cal origins. We were tottaly a better team but hey they were also perrenial super bowl flameouts too so we could revel in that at least. Ha ha .by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
