Exposure to vets tricks of trades will help his game.

I was leaving another tidbit out.
He played Hoops as a prep under a X NBA Superstar having the 2nd or 3rd most popular shoe of all time.

That would be Mr Penny Hardaway back in Tennessee.
( Memphis area I believe ).

He was recruited under the designation Athlete.

That designation is pretty rare for a guy that size you'd think

UTSA is not as embrionic a program as it was a few years ago but it's still relatively new in compared to a rival like UTEP.
The year Davenport was there gave them some buzz.
They were probably a top 15 % D Nationally statewise even though a matchup against a opponent like Tex A&M would be a problem.

We'll see if he can raise his game.
There is something in him worth a couple years of polish.
I think Rams knew some scouts with their salt may have had him on thier radar.
Kid has some college media day exp as well.
Not bad to have under his belt.
