I'm a little confused why that seems to be lost in conversation?. We had that game thier DL didn't kill us . We avoided that brick wall with a good game plan. The busted third down play on defence was the only thing that lost us that game. They don't have Buckner as well as a couple of thier offencive pieces. They will not be impossible to beat in week 4 if that's the next outing we squareby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that a team record ?. Robert Young ,Jerry Wilkenson ... Pace ,Fred Miller... Those would seem his wingspan rivals historically Ramwise. Wonder what Too Tall Jones or Ted Hendricks wingspan were ?. Someone can reply with any arm length comparisons. On Lewis I told a friend if we are lucky we got a poor man's Charles Haley with him. I see simularities there. Lol. Wouldn't that beby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
What stood out to me on Burgess was how many different ways he shows up. It looks like EVIL INTENT. Blitzing plays for loss. Plays breaking up passes with well timed hits as ball arrives , open field tackling is solid saw him sticking his nose in there in run game knifing people down quick. You can see a lot of juice in his play. That might be infectious . That is great.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotenicecatchellard Jerry rice was extremely fast he was in range of 4.45 to 4.59 by NFL talent evaluators. The combine was no where near it is now in terms of running in your underwear on turf, electric timed and track shoes. Jerry Rice was not 4.71 that is a myth. Never recall him being aughy from behind. I think speed above 4.55 matters . Let's say 4.45 especially matters. Their is a mucby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Just to add a note. Jefferson said he was consistently running 4.4s'. Pre injury. Ease any concerns about his ability to run deeper routes.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
He is quality . Hope people actually watched the vid I put earlier. He has career off field maybe if he wants it . Kinda looks like Rick Fox maybe ?.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Pittman was talked up so much by PFF , drafted #2 in second round he will be great there . Oh wellby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Colts . 5 drops his entire career. Dammitby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Those would be two very acceptable Ram picks but I think Delpet and Winfield are mocked too low. Those two should be picked before the Rams pick at 52 . I'd knock one of the RBs further down also and add Pittman somewhere so that mock seems off .by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks that was a great read. It reminds me to spread the word about this board . He tottally could have been one of us.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Mr Pittman and his lady.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Nelson Spruce might be the only easier contract negotiation at WR than Pittman . I'm sure he would love to stay home. Nice YouTube channel also.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBigGame81 Either Pittman or Mims. Just a hunch... I want you on my team or I'll join up. That's why I mentioned trading 57 for the amunition to move slightly up with 52. I have a feeling other teams will take Mims and Pittman away if we sit at 52. Either of those guys gives us a legit starter opposite Woods and Kupp Peterson may quietly love to stay at home and play with Rams.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_81 That is because Robinson came at a time where that #2 pick value, you were getting entire drafts for it. That wasn't taking place back when Smith was chosen. But how bad was Smith to be worse than Robinson which I don't dispute. I do think Robinson's lack of Football IQ may have been a contributing factor to Fisher's 5 play offense so if you factor that in, it is probably vby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Those are simple designs . Nothing to worry about. Kinda clean look actually. I'm ok with them. I see they also have blue and white versions. Nice.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Do it. Put it out there before the 40 the pick is taken if possible . Use the ammunition to move up the 52 to maybe 45. That would be wisdom. Certainly that would lock in a fantastic player. And grade and need will intersect.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNewMexicoRam ....Rams pick Pittman and Curtis Weaver. Pittman wow that's my guy . Idvjump thru roof !!!. Eh Weaver's ok too lol.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Funny Captain obvious stuff. I saw tape of Brooks against a couple school s Oklahoma being one where he didn't look so great really. Whiffed bad on QB and RB in space. I did see he could get to edges and could blitz. I wasn't very sure about him anyway.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
The thing I would worry about since they're obviously focused on player they have ranked around 30 -75 maybe as possibilities in their first two picks is them drafting a player that is rated 70th on thier board because of positional need at 52. 57 maybe that's ok but trade should be in play there if that's a option. Let's keep our fingers crossed they don't make that mistake with the higherby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we've stayed away from Baylor ever since. Well maybe Britt Hager but that was more about Fisher and his dad but yeah Smith was I think a big reach compared to to comparative grades universally held by Robinson from several sources. I think they were total opposite s in another way . Smith was I believe a much brighter intellect. Maybe the Rams thought they had the package that way.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Mims or Peterson at WR . I want one of those . Great picks are definitely there. Chin is also right there. Yes we need a great OL Man, but pleaaaaase no Cushenberry or the Temple Center at 52 if one of the above players is still there at that pick.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Simmons does a couple things for them v us. He kills the jet sweep . If they blitz him he can really disrupt us. If they just float him in space he won't do a whole lot . Let's hope they try to put him in spot to cover the whole field instead of attacking aggressively then he's going make plays but I think it would be more of a passive gain. Lesser and bearable.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
They both had those great measurables didn't they. ;). Both very gifted athletically and should have made it if was just about that. So buyer beware. Smith was great at rodeo tricks if I recall. Couldn't he cattle rope?!. Sorry I can't hate a guy that can do that . Lol.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
PFF really spoke badly of Cushenberry lately. Said he was very bad in allowing pass rush pressure. Any comments ?by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks Deadpool,. Johnny Johnson has a son who also played for Texas and was in the Senior Bowl. He is around 6-5 and tweener TE -WR . What do you think of him. Is he good enough to make our team or cut it in the league?. If we got Claypool were would you play him ,,,TE or WR ?.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Noteboom is a good talent he may lack quite enough punch to be really good starting LG or LT. He needs something . Maybe his trainers can get him up/ stronger. Evans I think does have good feet and power to play either tackkle. You don't do what he did against Kalil Mack by being a fluke or average. I also suppose DE or Rush LB's could still find flaws this year. I think they won't go blby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Those first four would be amazing . Great idea too. The more I look at Micheal Pittman . I'd trade both seconds and a third next year for him. He's got all star written in his future. I wouldn't be surprised if Snead went to at least one of his Oak Christian games since the Rams came back right around same time as his Senior year. He has extremely soft hands and runs very fluid. Gonnaby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Reviewing these never gets old . I like to look at the roster and the game plans.. Pass on first down. Misdirection FB dive 2nd down for 9 yds. Lol it's just a dang ole treat. Billy Jenkins and London Fletcher both undrafteds.. FA's starting at MLB and S. Not to mention the mix of talent in the Piano Bros ( OL ). Can we ever get that much of a group of stars and lunchpail men againby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Well he should go down in Ram and NFL History as one of the top 3 power kickers in NFL History. He Janakowski and whoever else fits ... I couldn't break it between the rest maybe Erxelben would be one name besides Elam or Dempsey. Unfortunately that is not a great requirement for success among NFL kickers. He hit his share of clutch kicks and it was a great to see him kick in practice.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
So did Donald or Goff just give back money ?. I thought we only had about $7 mill ?. It must be back loaded the last two years ?.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
