Had a great rookie season and then they drafted Mason ... then he was traded and out of the league. I can't think of anyone else who had a more raw deal.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

It's on the 5th year option and the franchise tag. Both absolutely screw RBs. The franchise tag should be a flat rate. QB or non QB. That's it. 15-18 mil. RBs have shorter careers. They shouldn't be treated the same. I say 1 less year contract ... higher franchise tag ... Like ... I am drafting for a dynasty league. I'm not even caring about that position. They last 3 years. a 6th? I'd flip a coin on that. I'd do a 7th though. Any kid who puts up over 200 yards in a game gets a shot.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
In this area I think they're learning ... Basically what I'm seeing from the past 6 years. They have a guy they want as #1 ... but they haven't been willing to draft a second #1. They drafted Henderson in the 3rd when there were bigger backs available if Gurley couldn't maintain. Thing is, while you may be tempted to draft a"complimentary player" with a top 100 pick, you simply doby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

Higbee is my type of TE, nasty, can block enough, and can hurt you on intermediate routes. Conwell was a legitimate monster on the field but wasn't going to be catching many seam passes.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
He was alone on Tennessee... They focused on him. He'll have the AD effect... but his #s mean He'll likely have opportunities for clean up sacks ... I think he gets 8 sacks. He was criminally underdrafted.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
He's a vet and Rivers shouldn't make an NFL roster. He's a trustworthy 4th and now we have 3 that can definitely pass block.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
He's been good as a backup. I like him as depth this yearby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
We've been burnt by this. But? I thought Josh Jacobs was done ... He ran different last year. Not just harder, but different. I saw the same thing with Cam. He didn't run how he did his rookie year. I don't know how to describe it except both switched from being leg explosive to whole body explosive. In a normal career path year 4 is an end. But like ... that's not what I'm seby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

We had about 7 mil after the Robinson trade ... That was about enough to sign the draft class with little to no wiggle room. Converting 13 to signing bonus takes his cost from 15 down to 2 or 3 this year. Leaving a full 10. After the draft class is signed we should still have 8 or 9. That's 1 solid vet who hasn't found a home yet, or a player in trade that's carrying some salary.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

That's what I saw as well. I'm pretty tough on UF kids because most of my friends went there and it's the only football field I've ever walked on. I'm tough on them because I really want to like them, and if they let me down I am extra bummed. I'm geeked about Etienne's little brother.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
The nflpa would be on your side. 3 years for FA, 4th year option for first rounders. Cut a year. It's a 5-6 year career unless you're a freak. Otherwise you have good backs that deserve to be paid getting crap deals or cut when they still have gas in the tank. Case in point Dalvin Cook. You know he's a franchise RB year 3. Pay him starting year 4. Cut him after six if that's yby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

No money, no spot, no contending this year. Miami is a sweet spot. Bengals if Mixon is in trouble again. Chargers maybe to take heat of Ekeler? Giants if Barkley hold out?by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that McVay said "Hey we're not playing our starters in PS so you guys will get a ton of reps on film ... and if there's an injury you're likely to make the roster and get meaningful playing time."by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Expectations. He was a freshman AA, and all conference freshman and sophomore years ... But he didn't really improve. Tristan Wirfs came in and played the right side ... His play improved greatly and he came out as a junior. When Jackson saw that, and saw that his draft grade was poor, he changed a lot. He went Vegan to get his body under control and got really disciplined. But theby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I always think of the end of the Untouchables, when Andy Garcia is on his back with one leg on a stroller ... Costner's like "You got him?" ... standing 5 feet away with the much easier shot. Garcia's like "Yeah" Costner says "Take him" Henderson and Morris are sure about the kid. Take him.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's say you have a 4 year starter at OLT at one of the premium Power 5 O line schools ... (Mich, Wis, Iowa) Let's say just that. Odds he gets drafted? Now add that he has prototypical size. Now let's say he was all conference all four years. Odds he gets drafted? Odds he gets drafted in the top 2 rounds? Odds he could be a franchise OLT? If you just go by the oddsby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Johnson I was a little confused by, expecting them to "competition" it out with what they had. Adding Robinson gives them 10 for a room of 7. Kupp Jefferson Atwell/Skowronek Nacua McCutcheon Xavier Smith PR/KR That's what I had coming in ... with some possibility for Hudson from Louisville. Johnson takes a spot? Robinson takes a spot?
