Nah, not going to bash youth. :laughing Two of my grandson's want to attend the OKC Thunder game in their next series... either Dallas or the Clippers. Clippers would be easy, short drive, BUT... they'd like to see the game in OKC... you know - - - experience a 'home' crowd. I don't blame them. So we've been talking about possible ways to get there. I suggested a 'road trip'. To be 2by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

But I think 'oil change' recommended mileage is mostly to sell oil.. .NOT because it's that harmful to your auto. That said... going WAY over would certainly not be good. Amazing how far newer cars can go these days before an oil change. My new RAM pickup goes 10,000 between changes. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
As a private pilot I feel MUCH safer in a small plane than on a big passenger Jet. Stats do NOT back that up, however. Reason - you can set a small plane down just about anywhere. So unless the damn plane explodes in mid-air you've got a good chance, better than good actually. On a big passenger jet not so much... if you can't make an airport you've got a big problem. I think that's an extremely rare gift. The actress Marilu Henner claims she can remember every day of her life. Well.... probably not since birth so I'm not sure at what age she began storing the info. I have vivid memories, like Gator, and aplenty.... but I do not think in the quantity Gator does. And sure... anything can spark a memory of something I haven't thought of since it hapby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
for a lot of reason the most obvious what others have noted: Injuries. I have often thought the better idea would be to shorten the season. Back down to 16, perhaps getting it as low as 14... with perhaps a broader playoff structure. But of course ZERO chance of that because of the loss of revenue. But if they could find a way to make up for the loss of game revenue by some alternative meaby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I devoured all the magazines that would come out just before the season and contained mostly outdated info. :laughing Told this before but it's funny, to me anyway. I wanted NO suspense... so when one of those old magazines came out I wasn't even out of the store with the magazine until I had checked for the predictions.... checking Rams first of course. And if they had not picked my Ramsby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm serious here! You seem to be able to know exactly how old you were for every event in your life.... significant events and even less significant events. I first noticed this on the main board.... you could recall not only an ordinary Ram's game from 30 years ago but every single detail of the game including what you and your family did that day! So is it just a beyond excellent memoryby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I flew many 'real time' instrument flights to Europe, Asia, Australia, et al. I've been meaning to get back into flight simulation. sstrams and I discussed this not too long back. I almost pulled the trigger then. I think the two top rated ones are MS Flight Simulator and X Plane. I'm not Alyo or Deadpool that knows all these guys but from what I've read Karty is one of those rare K's that some believe was worth seriously considering pretty high in the draft. Couple that with the fact that you can make a good argument, IMHO, that the Ram's biggest need for 2024 was Kicker and this choice seems very, very, very good to me. After last year it would be GREAT to watch aby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure how many of you are involved with youth, HS, college football. I am. I have grandson's playing in college down thru youth football. Coaches these days, and it's been for a while now, are putting academics and character as top priority. Kids, players, are constantly reminded that nothing is more important than academics and character when it comes to playing sports. A young athby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I think we set the record! I do remember a few where a 'single player', or two, caused as much excitement but the entire draft? I'd say this year is the winner. Now - - can you imagine if the majority of these guys... or even say 5, HIT! No, not getting ahead of myself.... but a guy can dream, right? :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
sounds to me like you have a keen interest in aviation - and if so then you will not be disappointed. It's not bad at all to see the planes on the tarmac but also seeing them in the air? Wow. Like your Dad I also have a pilot's license. I do not fly these days, however. Haven't in.... oh geez, over a decade now? I used mine quite a bit. Even the slightest change in lighting completely changes the shade of blue for me. I agree that in the right lighting that blue can pop, looks great. Other times, however, it's bad to me.... in fact, horrible. Close to that anyway. Also - Penix came back from the injury well, very well, and showed great talent. No doubt teams were wary of his injury history BUT... you can't just ignore his talent. I'd guess more than a few teams considered him among the top QB's this year in talent.... Atlanta one of them. I think the big stink about this choice is mostly "money" related? As I've mentioned - living right under their training airspace I get an airshow once a week or so. BUT.... that's certainly not the same as an actual airshow. I've written before, several times I think, about living under the flight path for planes flying to and from airshows all over Calif. Lot of WWII aircraft, my favorite. But the rarest I've ever seen was the Goodyear Blimp. Once forby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I believe McVay considers the TE position the hinge pin for the offense.... every play begins there. Not sure you could exaggerate what he would have given up for Bowers... but he didn't. And for him to be ok with that I think says a lot about the security he feels with his current TE's. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
