drop, drop, drop. At least two critical drops were by x Ram Reynolds. Another in the endzone went right through the Lion receivers two hands. Then there was Purdy's errant throw that the intercepting Lion had in his sights until it bounced off him right into the arms of the Niner receiver near the goal line. Can't blame Jared. then I think you need an Apple TV to access Peacock. The new Smart TVs don't need a separate box for Apple. It's built into the television. I could be wrong but we have a "commercial tv-meaning there are no instruments on the TV itself. We had access to all streaming but they were all through our Apple TV little box. It just went out so we are considering a Smart Tv that has all the acceby waterfield - Bucky's Pub

I'm with you on this. The fan and the Kneecap sign was totally independent of what happened to our TE. Once again a legal play that ended tragically. Tyler will be out a long time but hopefully his NFL career won't suffer too much. Did the Lion D back intentionally want to ruin Higbee's career I doubt it. Did he intentionally hit a most vulnerable part of Tyler's body that more likely than noby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com

There is no question the Niners have built a dynamic team full of talent. But Josh is an enormous-not just physically-talent who is one of the very best in the NFL. You can't compare the two unless they play together on the same team.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com

If the question is were they good? Good enough to play the Eagles for the Championship. Same for 1950 when they lost to the team that replaced them in Cleveland namely the Cleveland Browns-on a last second FG by HOF kicker Lou Groza. But then in 1951 they again played the Browns at the Coliseum for the Championship. By this time they had drafted Van Brocklin who split time with Bob Waterfield tby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
It didn't help that I am-and of course was-color blind. I've told this story several times on this board. I was 10 and we sat on the Eagle side of the Coliseum. I was dripping wet and cold. My mom had a flask filled with Jim Beam and would now and then pass it to me with "drink a swallow so you will stay warm". HOF fullback Steve VanBuren for the Eagles just kept slugging aheadby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't remember the red. The yellow was always with them. I was at the 49 NFL Championship game. Could not tell what colors either team wore. Both Eagles and Rams covered in mud. Rained all day and night.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
He bailed on Goff for one reason: order from headquarters-Stan wanted Rams in the SB to coinside with the first SB at SoFi. McVay thought Stafford was the best immediate choice-fully aware that Goff could "develop" later. And he did.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
I understand now what you are saying. It's the look. Ok. I'm obviously a longtime fan and supporter of the Rams. I was even part of the committee that tried to prevent the move to St. Louis. But I can't "identify" with the Rams in the sense that it impacts my own self-worth. How others might look at the team makes no difference to me. when I would go to the Coliseum to see the Rams. If I recall the crowds seem to be mostly males in their 50s and 60s. Most wore hats and many were in suits. I never saw anything close to a fight in the stands. I'm sure they sold alcohol (beer) in the stands but can't be sure. So what happened ? My theory-the Rams and Van Brocklin. "some people don't like the idea of the Qb the Rams cast off, rising again beating the Rams and then potentially beating the Niners to get to the SB" Speed-I don't like the idea of anyone beating the Rams. But for me it has nothing to do with all the drama of a former qb beating them or going to the SB. That was one of the better trades in recent NFL hx. Both teams benefited. Rams/Stafford went to the SB and the Lions are back in the playoffs with Goff and all the draft choices they used from the Rams. \ Good luck to the Rams next season and good luck to the Lions this season. What you do is make the play illegal. But I don't know how you do that since tackles below the waist are routine. Dickerson ran straight up with knees pumping so defenders were forced to tackle him low otherwise he was gone. This is a tough one. I have no answer.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
I am the last person in the world to be labeled as saying anything racist. To assign differences in cultural behavior is not a racist remark when there is no negative connotation to it. My point is there is no such thing in the NFL as "clean hard hitting". It is and always has been to inflict as much pain when you tackle so that the other player will remember and possibly be more likely than not, next time, to error in his play. If the game was "clean" there would be no game-at least in the sense that generates fandom and $$$$. We are not dealing with blackby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
I understand the reaction. I have it too. I don't recall growing up in the 50s that type of demonstrative conduct- so when I see it I cringe. OTOH I've also come to realize that times are different today. In 2019 70% of NFL players were African American. Today its likely even higher. There is a very rich African American culture in demonstrative behavior. I see it in their art, music, speeches,by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
