It didn't help that I am-and of course was-color blind.
I've told this story several times on this board. I was 10 and we sat on the Eagle side of the Coliseum. I was dripping wet and cold. My mom had a flask filled with Jim Beam and would now and then pass it to me with "drink a swallow so you will stay warm".
