Quotedzrams Winning and Case getting it done can be separated. When they win 9-3, it’s a win but not necessarily a case of Case getting it done. The team is smart enough to know when it’s the D that is the reason for the win. They are also smart enough to know that they are not winning because of the QB and that they are ranked near dead last on offense. Quotezn As normal and common as it is for teams to fire head coaches after 3 games (who are 2-1) for making an aggressive call to put the game away (a call which does not come back to bite them)... ...I say, this time, the Rams should do the crazy nutzoid thing and hold back on replacing him. Just sayin. . Agree that he shouldn't be fired NOW that we're 2-1. But I completely disagreeby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
He looks lighter...thinner to me this season versus last season. And he's just not making the first guy miss so far. He doesn't seem like what we saw last year.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, if we can beat AZ in their house to make it 3 in a row, that would definitely make a statement. It's a tall order though, but I have to say I'm more hopeful now than I was even after the Seattle win.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

Fortunately it didn't come back to bite us in the butt. Without the extra point we had an 11 point lead which Tampa could have tied us with a TD, 2 point conversion, and a FG. If we kick the extra point, we go up by 12, forcing them to score 2 TDs. I didn't see the logic AT ALL in going for 2 there. Thank the football gods that it didn't backfire on us. Is if the Rams took Wentz and the Eagles took Goff. If everything worked out exactly the same, where Teddy gets hurt, Bradford gets traded, and Goff ends up starting for the Eagles. Would he be doing as well as Wentz has been doing? Would Wentz, on the Rams, be on the bench? I wish we could know that answer. C'mon Goff...don't make us wish we had Wentz instead!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
During the draft process I was hoping and praying the Rams would pick Wentz. What I saw from his college tape was a kid that looks like he has "it." His first 2 NFL starts have been pretty impressive. That isn't to say I'm indicting Goff. I could see the talent in Goff when he played in the preseason but I could also see he clearly wasn't ready to start week one. I'm hoping and pby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
To me it just looks like he wasn't crazy talking to the media. I wouldn't read anything more into it than that, certainly not that he feels trapped.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFIP For years saying fisher has no clue about modern football. Should have been evident for a while.. Sad really.. And I think I was one of the one's doing the roasting. Gotta admit...you were right and I was wrong. I want Fisher gone yesterday.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills unfortunately for us... we will have to sit through another long season like we did with Linehan and Spags that's the hard part and then we have to pray they get the coaching choice correct... they will have their choice of the litter but make no mistake... the wheels are about to come off... and they are clearly not in St Louis anymore. First week of the season. Monday Night. Prime Time. And we come out, get shut out 28-0 by a team that most people were saying were one of the worst teams in the league...and we look as bad as possible doing it. Where was our vaunted D-Line that couldn't get a sniff of Gabbert? He had all day back there. Where was our O-Line? Keenum had about 1 second to get rid of the ball most plays.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm a bit concerned about where Goff is at this point in time in his development. I know that he's a rookie and all of that stuff. I understand that he still has a lot to learn and he just isn't ready to start yet. I'm in the camp that believes he shouldn't start until he is ready. But when you see 4th rounders and UDFAs performing better than him, it makes you wonder. With that said I seeby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm surprised Michael Thomas survived the first cut. That dude drops practically every pass thrown to him. Also, the dude that played LOT in the 4th quarter of the game Saturday (Williams?). The poor guy was a turnstile. I thought for sure those two would be among the first cut.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLARams17 That's my opinion. Of course it's not a fact. But neither is Keenum would have taken us to the playoffs last year. Both are opinions. BUT look at what our front office did. Mortgaged the future for a QB. Ask yourself, would they have done that if they thought Keenum was the guy to take them to the playoffs? we are pretty darn deep at RB. I've loved what I've seen so far out of all 4 guys: Gurley, Cunningham, Brown, and Green. If we can produce a competent passing attack to go along with these studs I think we may have something here.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Troy, I haven't been on the board for awhile and I'm just now seeing this thread. That ordeal sounds pretty nasty. Glad to hear you're recovering. Keep it going man. Best of luck.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd say this would be a bigger disaster than if he was fired. We've got talent and I can't help but believe a better head coach could get more out of it and put a...I don't know...WINNING team on the field. Fisher's track record proves he's Jeff "8-8" Fisher. Please Stan, don't extend him. Let this last year of his contract play out.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Funny too! I agree 110%. These guys get PAID to CATCH the ball, not drop it. I'm so sick and tired of seeing Rams drives end in dropped passes. C'mon guys, do what you're paid to do...CATCH THE FOOKING BALL!!!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
