I think someone said his cap hit is $8 million next season (not sure about that). For what he is doing at the moment, I don't see that as good use of the cap. However, I also don't see it as outrageous either. I think McVay requires preciseness when it comes to route running. And from what I can tell from McVay's press conferences, they are working on that to get Austin on the field more. Austby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
but after a while my body said, "Screw this... Stop eating so much and get off your ass" lol Evidently I expect it to fix itself.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
I prefer his early stuff but there is no question he remained relevant throughout his career. And that is really difficult to do. Just sad that he's gone.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
He ran at least one route downfield... as a decoy probably... and then he got the pass that he evidently was expecting to be on his right shoulder... They are finding a use for him and IMO it appears they are slowly trying to work him into the offense more. That said, I'm not going to concern myself too much with a player that won't be here next year. I hope he keeps his mistakes to a minimumby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I worked my way up to 174 pounds... I figured if Aaron Cox could play football at 174 then that was the weight I wanted to be. By that reasoning now I am looking at Mark Barron, lol... I can't believe I weigh more than NFL safeties... how did this happen? Well I was 180 until I got married but in the past 4 or 5 years I developed a habit that helps me sleep... eating late... in large quantitiby Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
They have to contain him as they pressure him... Would be nice to see Quinn have a monster game. And this is probably the best defense the Rams have faced. Going to be a challenge, IMO.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
but as soon as Donald got the advantage he finished it up. Its impressive to see a lineman get air. lol But it probably doesn't happen without AO's pushby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
and that this would be the way the team would be playing if he was still coaching. But I bet deep down it stings a bit.... maybe a lot. As for his little revenge lust for the Rams, that's just who he is... him against the world. He doesn't see the 5 years of chances and the obscene amount of money... he sees an organization who lied to him. I doubt he'll get a job again unless he is willinby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
And like Iowa said, I probably couldn't do that on a bike... with several pit stops. I watched react videos for 2 hours today on youtube... so I completely suck eggs in comparison.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
And I mean it was inspiring. Not enough game balls to go around. A good WE victory. So there has been this glass of Kool-Aid that I have been talking by for the past 5 or 6 weeks... And each week I get a little closer to it. I am sitting at the table... I am picking the glass up and studying the Kool-Aid inside, almost like a fine wine. I'm like the kid who is coming back from the dentistby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with JamesJM that I've never had anything cooked in a pit that wasn't awesome. So if I'm somewhere like a fair and they have goat roasting in a pit... I'm sure I would have to try it.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
I think I remember something about people making dirt pie but I wasn't paying attention because I had Gomer Pyle onby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
the more successful the offense will be. I mean if ever became an actual threat then the decoy thing would work better. It appears that McVay wants to give him the ball enough to keep the defense honest. And hard to argue with the results at this point. But if Austin could break a few big plays, Gurley and everyone is going to benefit from it. Knowing the offense is very important to McVay. Iby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It appears that he is going to be a solid WR. No doubt teams are going to be concerned with Watkins and Woods. Some of the other guys, TE's included could make some noise.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I had a Colts jacket. No idea why. No one in our family liked them. Mom knew I liked football... so I guess any football jacket would do. My brother got the Bills one. lmao But those were our jackets and we had to wear them. Anyway, I think that is awesome Iowa. I always wanted one.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
They know its not bacon right? Where is Canada Ram? I can get about half way through a McMuffin before I have to remove it from the sandwich... but to be honest a McMuffin would probably be weird if it had um... American bacon on it. Hands up if you have had "scrapple"... lol...by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
I think I had a bad experience at an Indian restaurant. Pretty sure that is the reason.by Atlantic Ram - Bucky's Pub
and weighed a lot less... who knew aggression could be so fattening. If they're still saying it in week 12 then whoa nelly. But even now the early hype is nice and a welcome change. If Wade can get the D right then the Rams might have something.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
but I like them. But I would never recommend them to anyone. And they are probably horrible for you. And they are weird, not in any particular way, just an all over weirdness about them. But they rarely have them available in my area... it's been several years. I have seen the Subway egg whites and have never tried them... and won't now anyway. I generally like most food. I'm not sure why this is an issue. I'd take the ball at the 25 every time. There will be no swirling winds for Austin in Dallas... I hope he can put the muffs behind him and do something on punts. I'm not down on him there but not a good start.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember a game a few years ago where Bryant picked finnegan up over his head and body slammed him and then made the catch in the endzone with the ref about 3 feet away watching the entire thing... no flag. No mention of the possibility of any problem. (Dez didn't actually go WWF on him but it was more than flagrant and the ref watched the whole thing) finnegan iirc just toppled like a rag dollby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
That seems almost impossible. That has got to be an inordinate amount of defensive scores. So what is the score between Gregg and Wade? Gregg's 71 points against to Wade's 75 points against. Thanks B&G!by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Gregg Williams 2014 Points given up per game by the team. There were some pick sixes given up by the offense and perhaps that is skewing the numbers a bit. But the defense was terrible through the first 6 or 7 games. IIRC 34 17 34 34 31 26 34 10 31 7 27 0 0 12 37 20 In the first half of the season, IF the defense was merely average, the Rams probably make the *cough* playby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Plus he has weapons and an OL... Goff has everything he didn't have last year... but that's not the biggest difference. IMO it's McVay.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
William's defense was pretty bad his first season. Really awful actually. And that was with a defense that did pretty well the previous season. Only 3 games in and I am thinking Wade is beating Gregg in points given up. Gregg Williams got it working eventually, I am guessing Wade Phillips will too.by Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It appears that McVay is perfectly happy running his system with players that fit the system. Hard to argue the results for the most part. So I doubt he has much interest in really utilizing Austin as a multi-purpose weapon and more like a gadget player who gets a few snaps here and there to keep defenses honest... mostly a decoy. That said, McVay has said Austin could move into a WR role IIRCby Atlantic Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
