...I just don't know if he has a trusted guy on his staff that can check him. Down two OL, pressure is killing Stafford, conventional wisdom leads a coach to focus on the run and then try to build a passing attack via playaction. McVay continued to run wide open sets while his left tackle was getting beat like a drum. When this team falls behind (even by a small margin) it seems his brainby DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
They've never asked him about why he abandons the run when he gets behind. Even in situations like tonight when he's in the 3rd qtr and only down 4. Would love to see it though.by DaJudge - Game Time Forum
He's just prone to panicking and getting pass happy.by DaJudge - Game Time Forum

...but for most of the first half they played just like they did week 1. The played team ball and worked together to be successful. I think this young team is promising.by DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone notice how slowly he got up on a lot of his catches in the late 3rd and 4th qtr? I wonder if he got his bell run at a some point.by DaJudge - Game Time Forum
I agree, McVay panicked and ditched the run down 20-17.by DaJudge - Game Time Forum

They need some productivity from the DL this drive and soon.by DaJudge - Game Time Forum
Don't pull a McMartz...keep forcing them to respect the run.by DaJudge - Game Time Forum
...man it was nice to see a team working as a whole. It was nice to see a dedication to the run behind a healthy and revitalized line. On D, the tackling was strong, big plays effectively minimized. Still basking in a really well executed game plan. There's a long way to go, and a lot of improvement still needed, but this was a nice surprise for week 1.by DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
...that had a perma-cringe with Toots, he did play well. I hope he continues to grow in the offense.by DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
...this win was really about the team coming together. Nice job by the coaching staff and players, maybe playing with a little chip on their shoulder is a strong motivator.by DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
Or we could just tip our cap to a damn well played (and coached) football game on the road today.by DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
....I keep looking at the schedule and thinking they could start 2-7. Who knows.by DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
...Bennett was drafted with the thought process that he was going to be the backup. 99% of college QBs aren't ready to play in the NFL in year one, a large percentage of them will never play in the NFL period. I'm not against giving him a year or two to see if development occurs. I'm more concerned on the planning side from mgmt in having a backup that's competent. ...this roster is certainly underwhelming, especially on D. We shall see. Game on, Go Rams!by DaJudge - RamsFootballFans.com
