Jim Croce No one will think this was cool but me. But I went to a small private college in 1976-77 called York College, it's located in Nebraska about 50 miles west of Lincoln. The population of York is about seven to eight thousand, and the enrollment at the school was about 300. It's tiny. My wife Toni is fond of saying that my last words on this earth will be something akin to, “hey y’all, hold my beer and watch this!” Well, I have outdone myself once again. No doubt you will see this true story chronicled in a LifeTime movie in the near future. Here goes. Last weekend I spied something at Larry’s Pistol and Pawn that tickled my fancy. I have a love/hate relationship with Glocks. They're ugly and don't have the most comfortable grip. But when I carry, it's a G27, they are affordable, reliable, durable, and mine just hides itself under my fat roll. Easily covered with a t-shirt. But I don't mix well with people who say Glocks are the ONLY good guns, or that they never fail, or have no negative qualities. They are good atby Aries - Bucky's Pub

The Cowboys. If you're not a Cowboys fan, you have to hate them. I grew up with their fans. When the Cowboys are winning, they are impossibly arrogant. When the Cowboys are not winning they "don't really follow football that much anymore." I know exactly why I hate the Cowboys. Their fans. Aries ~Sign of the Ramsby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I'm thinking maybe all I got from the Rams was a team photo. I don't have the Jim Hart photo anymore, no idea what happened to it. I just have the one of Bart Starr and one of Carl Yastremski. I also have a book autographed by Mike Jones and a football autographed by Steve Largent, but that's pretty much the extent of my collection. Steve Largent is a really nice guy. I was half watching some TV show the other day, I can't remember what country they were in, but one guy was showing an American around and showed him the house where the president of the country lived. Just a normal house out in the country. And the American kept saying "THAT'S where the president lives? We can just go up and knock on the door? hm, Oklahoma is a reciprocal state. I was not aware that we permit residents of constitutional carry states to carry without a permit, but there's no reason I would have heard that. Obviously law enforcement would need to know, but it wouldn't have any impact on me. Interesting. Aries ~Sign of the Ramsby Aries - Bucky's Pub
When I was a kid, me and my buddies went through a spell where we would write to our favorite athletes and ask for autographed pictures. Not all of them sent one back, but many did. Jim Hart would always write a personal response, if you asked him a question or something he would write a couple of lines to answer or just to thank you for writing to him. I know I had some from Rams players buby Aries - Bucky's Pub
Same in Oklahoma, if you are licensed you can carry any TYPE you are licensed for. If you take and pass your training with a revolver, you can only legally carry a revolver. If you pass with a semi-auto you can carry any type (they want to be sure you can operate a semi-auto, and will assume if you can do that you can manage a revolver). But it's not restricted to a specific weapon. The guyby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I'll see if I can find it. Weird that you don't necessarily have to notify you are carrying in California, as restrictive as they are. You are required to notify in Oklahoma anytime you are arrested or detained, and a traffic stop is considered being "detained". You can either notify verbally, or by simply handing an officer your permit. Different laws by county I would think woby Aries - Bucky's Pub
I think Massachusetts and Delaware are pretty restrictive? Not sure. I kind of try to keep up with this stuff, but not always real good at it. As someone said above, everyone in Texas (and Oklahoma) are pretty much born with a gun in their hand. Aries ~Sign of the Ramsby Aries - Bucky's Pub
