Quoteramithard Quotedodgerram Probably my last chance to see Stafford at QB for the Rams live at a stadium. But it will cost a small fortune with airtravel, hotel, transportation. And we would need somebody to take care for our 3 Weimaraner dogs for the weekend. That is the toughest part of all. totally disagree with the premise of the article that this year would have been the best time to aquire Staffords heir apparent. QB class was weak and team had other needs to make a run at the SB. Veteran QBs that were available were not that great. If I had to chose one it would have been Fields. Next season is the ideal time to get into the QB mode. Two first round picks, 4-5 excellent Qby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
why should we give up more for him ? We got Long and a 3rd rounder for him from the Fins in 2022. Now he is 3 years older with a huge contract. No way I give up more for him. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Great, great stuff. Thank you so much. Makes the draft that much more enjoyable. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!1by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
:clap Will be watching a lot of Falcons games this coming season. Could set the Rams up fantastic for the next decade. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
There are multiple ways to secure some depth. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
I tend to agree but a huge part of this grade IMHO is owed to the trade the Rams executed getting that first round pick in 2026. Have the Rams closed the gap to the Eagles for 2025 ? Are they equippted enough to run with them and the Lions, Commanders, Chiefs, Bills, Ravens for 2025 ? Looks to me they have worked around the margins , providing more depth and not immediate upgrades to the startby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com

What I would like to see: Get a change of pace RB. Get an ILB who can play sideline to sideline. Get a huge body to clog up the middle for the d-line. Get a swing tackle for the o-line. Get a speed demon at WR who can return punts. Trade for Jalen Ramsey. With his contract and age and remembering what we got for him 2 years ago (not much) a 6th or 7th round pick next season should be goby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotekw13 Well, he does catch TD's and McVays weekness is 10 yards and in, so he has a tall Red Zone guy. Parkinson is even taller than Ferguson and it did not help in the 10 yards and in zone. What makes you think that this will change with the new kid ? Will McVay call different plays this season or is Ferguson that much better a target in close ? Joe Klopfenstein. Lets hope this pick turns out better . Go RAms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Had Ferguson as our 4th rounder in my personal mock draft. Lots of potential and fills the mode what the Rams had been looking for for some time. Fast and tall. The edge rusher in the 3rd I have my problems with. Not a need area, undersized . Like the speed and the non stop motor. Still IMHO a reach from a need and talent point of view. Sanders still on the board is a shocker. Should the Rby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteShecky which would put the #1 at about pick number 14. Problem with that pick is the South is such a weak division. ATL very well could win that division and make the playoffs . NO and CAR are two of the worst teams in the league. Go RAms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 And it is my hope that Snead not touch that new 2026 first he was just gifted. Certainly not for any player in this draft. That 2026 first would be best used on an elite QB prospect next year. Perfect timing to dovetail with Stafford’s retirement after 2026. Absolutely. Keep that pick as ammunition for either a college QB next year or in a trade for a proven veteran. Burrows .by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesince68 That 1st round pick adds a ton of value to what they have in their "picks stash" and thus their "trade stash". The trade actually increased their ability to move around tomorrow - if they choose. There are also several good veteran LBs and others still unsigned as FAs. I would be happy if the Rams signed Eric Kendricks tomorrow. Kendricks would be a gooby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedroopy After reading many of the posts on this board about the trade it seems close to 50/50 on liking or hating it. I think we still need to see who they pick in round 2 to get a better idea of whether Snead/McVay made a good move. Also, we need to see what we do with next year's pick as well. Only time will tell. It does seem a little strange that the Rams who went a few consecutive yearsby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Good point about making a trade for a veteran QB. Maybe someone who wants to win and is unhappy at his current team. Burrows ?Herbert? Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesince68 The Rams fleeced the Falcons, unless Pearce is the next LT. There are plenty of good players left to draft and they got a probable top 10 pick next year. Really unbelievable. If the Falcons have injuries, Penix has trouble and Cousins is gone, that pick could be a top 5. Raheem is not an offensive coach and his OC is a rookie, as is his QB (basically). Not the stuff of great sby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe we will move up a couple slots if Snead and McVay love a particular player using some later picks or a mid rounder next seasons draft. My wish would be Amos , CB. Hey, even Sanders still on the board... Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRidgewood Ram Let’s see how good Manning is next season before we coronate him the next Payton. Well, I would gladly take the next Eli if the results are the same. Two more SB wins. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Giving up two high picks this year for a lottery ticket on maybe Manning next season is kind of puzzling. But I give Snead and McVay the benefit of doubt here. Lets hope they can pick some diamonds in the rough later this draft again. Go RAms!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
I would like the Rams to bring him back . Considering what we got for him 2 years ago the cost in draft compensation should be extremely low. Maybe a 7th rounder this year or 6th rounder next draft. With our great pass rush he could really flourish as a ball hawk in the secondary. He can still be a diffrence maker. Wouldn´t hat be something if history reapeats itself and we win a SB after trby dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
Could have been a bonanza, but turned out to be just okay. Rams twice had the chance to become a real dynasty had they drafted better. First time was after the Dickerson trade, second time this2001 draft. Both times they struck out. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!by dodgerram - RamsFootballFans.com
