I guess I'm an old fuddy duddy. I don't love all types of music. Some music I don't mind listening to but I don't love it enough to ever buy it (classical, country). Some music I don't care for at all (rap, new age, hard rock where all they do is scream instead of sing, some traditional music from other countries). I rarely listen to the radio anymore because I don't like a lot of music they play. So instead I have several playlists consisting of about 1100 songs that I've created and refined over the years that I listen to on my iPod especially when I'm driving. I also have 3 albums on the iPod that are out of print (two by Johnny Mathis and one by Nat King Cole). I love listening to my iPod because it ONLY has songs I really like. I know I'm not going to hear anything that makes me cringe or make me want to skip to something else.
If I ever feel that way while listening to something, I remove that song. I don't have any songs on it I don't care for.
