is WAY different in scope than the remakes.. The remakes rely on blood and guts and gore while the original - and I've only seen it once in the 80's - leaves a lot to the imagination.. Its more like Jaws than modern slasher movies cuz it doesn't necessarily show everything.. i remember there being some somewhat goofy parts, but I need to rewatch it.. I'm afraid that now tha tI'm used to mega gore from the franchise, that the original will almost seem "boring".. But, I need to watch it again to find out..
