I did the note in a bottle once....

probably around 30 years ago.. torrential rains here, a creek had swollen up almost to my back door, at the time, so I took a wine bottle, wrote a note with my name and number (which I still have) and sent it on its way down the creek.. Have never heard from anyone.. I often wonder where that bottle ended up.. More than likely thrown into a landfill without anyone noticing there was a note inside..
