It really took a dive in the second season, IMO. Not complaining about nice looking girls but it started getting cheesy when they had all the Nurses running around with a 1970s look. Heck, there was even an episode with Peter Frampton with his long 1970s locks. AND.....Used to get under my Dad's (Ex Marine) skin with the young Pilot who had WAY too long hair for a Marine.
If I had to pick a favorite episode, it would be "Prisoner Of War"....Where the Squadron detains a downed Japanese Pilot who goes on to help them win a Ping Pong tournament.
