And probably too sappy. But there were some story lines that ripped your heart out and stomped on it. I still say the lady burning up in the house is maybe THE heaviest scene I have ever seen on TV. LOL On Youtube, there's a reunion of some of the Actors and the lady who burned up (Name escapes me) said she loved filming it because she was surrounded by nice looking L.A. Firefighters. But yeah.... Michael Landen knew how to Produce some powerful stuff.

By the way.....We are still in Season 5 of The Waltons. Just watched "The Pony Cart" recently. I have to say...My very favorite episode. The scene where Martha Corrine tells Olivia how hard it is to get old and watch people you know pass away...That ALWAYS gets me. I remember my Grandfather telling me the same thing. Now that I'm older and have experienced it, it hits really hard.
