Hard to believe they were that tall

I don't know about all telephone poles back then , but I remember when I was a kid , the ally behind our house , still had those old poles still standing , they wern't used , but when they put in the newer , taller poles in , they just placed the new poles near the old poles , and just left the old poles where they were , but those old poles probably were even 20 feet tall , them old poles still had those climbing pegs in them , I couldn't count the number times I got yelled at to get down from those old poles................lol
