I think what I liked about The Exorcist the most was that 'being an avid' reader I read the novel first. Almost always I've read the novel, (if there is one), before I see the movie version and like ALL reading 'snobs' I VERY seldom think the movies do the novel's justice... but I think The Exorcist DID.
