It's not a recent model but does everything I want... so I don't have any real need to replace it with something just because it would be 'newer'.
Love it, BTW. I really like Garmin products except for one thing, and it's bad, very very bad... the way they gouge you on the maps. Their cost for specific maps, like hiking topo's, is outrageous... and actually I don't see how they can stay in business since MUCH cheaper maps are available for FAR less money... but the units themselves?
