I know this topic has been beaten to death but... if the Football HOF was as easy to get in as the R&R HOF then welcome to the HOF Jason Seehorn... It seems the qualifications to be in the HOF is to have played music and had at least one song played on the radio. I actually like Duran Duran... but Jason Seehorn much??? Eminem will be the first to say that the music he performs is a different genre. But in the Music HOF, definitely.

And just because I like a certain band doesn't mean I think they should make it in. Like Duran Duran... Great band but HOF??? The difference between the best WR in the HOF and the worst is basically negligible. Mostly great players in the NFL HOA... But the Eurythmics in the same category as Zeppelin? Or the Beatles? Or Beck, Bowie, ... Alice In Chains...Red Hot Chili Peppers? And I like the Eurythmics but HOF??? Makes it a mostly meaningless decoration. King Crimson not being in the HOF is like Don Coryell not being in the HOF. So both have issues but the difference is that the R&R HOF criteria would let in Bruce Coslet.
